According to the product specialist

Pros
With a weight of only 1580 grams the Crossmax Pro wheels are very manoeuvrable and easy to get up to speed. Perfect for hilly terrain.
The Crossmax Pro is a cross country wheel par excellence. The 22mm UST tubeless rim provides comfort, speed and traction.
The body has a low engagement of 9 degrees, which means that the body is quick to engage when you push those pedals. Ensuring a minimal loss of power.
Ideal cross-country wheels with a very low weight of 1320 grams.
The durable ratchet hubs have 7.2 degrees of engagement and are very easy to maintain.
The modern 30 mm tubeless rims are compatible with wide tyres, resulting in excellent grip and stability.
The steel straightpull spokes reduce the risk of spoke breakage by eliminating the weak point on the spoke.
Ideal cross-country (XC) wheelset for when the standard wheels in your mountain bike need replacing.
Narrower rims than in the M 1900; the internal rim width of 25 mm keeps the weight down without compromising on control and comfort.
The reliable DT Swiss 370 hubs are well sealed against dirt and water.
Thanks to the DT Swiss ProLock spoke nipples, your wheels retain much better spoke tension for a long time.
Maximum total weight of bike + rider of 110 kg allowed. This means the wheels are quite sturdy.
-
Cons
The single yellow spoke is the signature of the Crossmax Pro wheels; you either hate it or love it.
A 6-bolt brake disc configuration is less common than centerlock but is a lighter system.
If you want to fit 2.35 inch or wider tyres, the internal rim width of 25 mm is on the narrow side.
