Pros
-
The two BOA IP6 dials on the Shimano RC702 cycling shoes allow you to adjust the fit perfectly and as desired. |
Thanks to perforations and mesh on the upper, the ventilating capacity has been improved. |
The full carbon midsole ensures optimal power transfer to the pedals. |
Water can run off the sole, which is very useful when cycling in wet and rainy weather. |
Equipped with Shimano Dynalast, which allows you to pedal more smoothly and transfer power more efficiently. |
Excellent fit due to the new X-Dial SLW3 fastening mechanism. |
The NRG Air Carbon sole offers both comfort and good power transfer. |
The AirFlow system provides an ideal airflow along the bottom of the shoe. |
Thanks to the Unibody construction, there are no pressure points on the foot. |
The ventilation holes across the shoe ensure good breathability. |
The full-carbon insert on the sole provides excellent power transfer. |
The shoe moulds itself to the arch of the foot for excellent support. |
Sturdy upper to improve performance. |
Minimal risk of overheating feet, thanks to the mesh inserts. |
The asymmetric wire distributes pressure evenly across the instep. |
Cons
-
The stiff carbon midsole of the Shimano RC702 is less suitable for quiet, recreational rides. |
With a full carbon sole, the power transfer to the pedals is even better than with this sole. |
In order to use the shoe with SPD pedals, you will need a separate adapter. This does not come with the shoes as standard. |
Two dial closures would have made the fit even more precise. |
Because of the good breathability you need an overshoe in the winter. |
