The AE92-D front wheel construction with a 92 mm full carbon rim and the closed disc rear wheel are fully designed to minimise aerodynamic drag. With a wide 21 mm inner rim width, the wheels increase aerodynamic efficiency and can accommodate modern wide tyres. The rim geometry is designed to reduce turbulence around the wheels, allowing you to maintain high speeds for longer. These properties come into their own especially on flat to gently rolling terrain where constant power is delivered.
Advanced hub design and brake technology
The front and rear wheels use the Panama SL and Panama DD hubs respectively, both manufactured from lightweight aluminium for a perfect balance between stiffness and weight. The front hub runs on top quality Enduro bearings and the rear hub uses SKF as well as Enduro bearings for extra durability. Thanks to the disc brake compatible design with Centerlock interface, braking performance is powerful and consistent regardless of weather conditions.
