Potencia Deda Superbox DCR

The Deda Superbox DCR stem is a stem that allows you to achieve semi-internal to even full internal cabling on traditional road bike frames with a 46mm upper bearing 1 1/8-inch headset and 56mm lower bearing 1.5-inch headset.

The Deda Superbox DCR stem includes special spacers that provide cable routing for brake and or gear cables. The stem can be used in 4 different ways and fits every cable routing solution on the market: DCR, S-DCR, Direct and External.

Combined with the Deda handlebars with the DCR system (Deda internal cable routing), the stem is the perfect solution for bikes with full internal cable routing. The Superbox stem features a proprietary system that offers two possible mounting solutions for internal cable routing.

Full internal cable routing (DCR) or semi-internal cable routing (S-DCR) through a seal that allows installation, adjustment or service without unnecessary complications for electronic cables and hydraulic disc brake cables. Also suitable for Mountain bikes and Gravelbikes with internal cable routing.

Traditional bike frame
When mounted on traditional road bike frames (external cable routing), the Deda Superbox DCR stem can be installed without the S-DCR seal (pictured) (no. 8).

Bike frame DCR-compatible
DCR-compatible frames require a 1"-1/8 fork steerer tube and the top bearing must be 1.5 inches. In this configuration, you should use the 56 mm top cap (pictured) (no. 12) and the black compression ring from DCR original bearing 45° × 45° or the grey version for 36° × 45° bearing type (pictured) (no. 14). Front fork
The Deda DCR system requires an opening for the front brake cable located at the fork steerer, this allows the cable to run to the disc brake caliper.

CAUTION : mounting the Deda Alanera handlebar, Vinci or Superbox stem on a Colnago C64 Disc & V3RS Disc, Pinarello F & F12, Bottecchia Aerospace and Cervélo Caledonia requires a specific plug spacer (Colnago), compression ring (Pinarello & Bottecchia) or insert ( Cervélo).
