The PowerBar Ride Energy Bar is an all-round energy bar; it can be consumed before, during, and after exercise because it contains a mix of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and proteins.

For all-round use
With 25.5 grams of carbohydrates per bar, the Ride Energy Bar is on par with other energy bars. The carbohydrate mix restores the carbohydrate supply so that you have enough energy during your cycle ride. The proteins contribute to a faster recovery of damaged muscle tissue after exercise, but also during prolonged exercise. With 10.7 grams of protein per bar, the Ride Energy Bar contains the ideal amount of protein for post-exercise recovery. Lastly, each PowerBar Ride Energy Bar contains 94 milligrams of magnesium, which contributes to normal muscle function.

All in all, the PowerBar Ride Energy Bar is an ideal energy bar for endurance rides or for recovery after your exercise.

Recommended use: Can be used before, during and after the effort. Consume no more than 3 energy bars per day. Take 1 or 2 energy bars per hour during the effort along with some sips of water or sports drink.
