With the XLC Comfort Grip pedal, you have extra grip in all conditions. The surface has been given a special treatment for this, so that it hardly makes any difference if you cycle in wet or dry weather. You almost always have plenty of grip, making the chance of slipping off the pedal very low. The bearings in the axle have a good durability, so after a few showers they will still run smoothly.

Great pedals for a city bike

My previous city bike pedals cracked on the axle of the pedal. I no longer have to worry about that with these pedals: they are very sturdy and robust. You can just stand straight on them at the traffic lights. Because of the large surface, the grip is also extra good, very nice when you wear shoes with leather soles!

I follow advise from Mantel sale's man at race bike department, bought them for gravel bike, as I don't want SPD. I like them very much. I'm happy I trusted his experience, because I would pick up different one.
