Accurate measurements
Dual-band technology ensures your data can be shown on both smartphones and ANT+ bike computers. The Wahoo Fitness RPM uses Bluetooth Smart, also known as Bluetooth 4.0. A very energy efficient method of communication. Use this Wahoo RPM speed sensor with your iPhone or Android smartphone while exercising, to monitor your speed in almost every cycling app. It's a good addition to apps which measure your speed based on GPS signals, because a speed sensor can also precisely measure your speed in areas with a low GPS signal. Ideal for use in the woods, for example. Collecting speed data has never been this simple. Are you looking for a method to accurately measure your speed with your favourite app or cycling computer? Choose this Wahoo RPM speed sensor!
With ANT+ connectivity, you can connect this device to other devices that come with the ANT+ protocol, so you can easily connect devices from different manufacturers. Many cycling computers and compatible sensors have this wireless technology. This allows all your sensors and devices to easily exchange data with each other, so you'll always have all of your data in the right place.
Bluetooth
With the Bluetooth connectivity you can easily connect this product to most smartphones. This way you can view your training data in all your favourite fitness apps, like Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo or Wahoo Fitness.

Very satisfied
An easy-to-install speed sensor. Also a convenient attachment on the hub of the wheel. I am very satisfied with it.
Pros & Cons

Perfect purchase
Had a normal wahoo before. But it sometimes lost connection in the woods. Which meant that when you looked back at your bike ride, you had a few km less. But with the wahoo rpm you don't lose connection. So always accurate
Pros & Cons

the sensor does what it is supposed to do.
Within 5 minutes it is on and linked to the bike computer

Still went for the original Wahoo with the Elemnt Bolt.
Since I have a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, I went for the original Wahoo speed sensor anyway. Despite some negative reports about replacing the battery. Have also replaced the cadence sensor battery before and that was no problem.

Nice but not sustainable
Yes... Did well out of the package... However after replacing the battery, the connection drops out regularly. I will look for another one.
