SRAM Rival AXS E1 Road Upgrade Kit

The SRAM Rival AXS E1 Road upgrade kit comprises the left and right SRAM Rival AXS E1 shifters, the front derailleur and the rear derailleur. The kit allows you to upgrade the key components of your SRAM drivetrain to the latest generation. You will be able to enjoy the improved ergonomics of the E1 shifters and the enhanced braking power. The key improvements over the previous generation are all included in this upgrade kit and will make your drivetrain feel as good as new!

Excellent braking power
The groupset is fitted with powerful hydraulic disc brake calipers that not only make braking smoother and much more controllable, but also mean you need to squeeze the brake lever much less deeply. The brakes also continue to perform well in poor weather conditions.

Lightweight aluminium construction
The components of the Rival E1 groupset are made from high-quality, lightweight aluminium, which cleverly reduces the weight while ensuring excellent durability. As a result, the derailleurs remain in top condition in all conditions. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely ride in your local area or tackling the French Alps, this robust construction always delivers reliable and precise shifting performance.

Reach Adjust and Contact Point Adjust technologies
Thanks to SRAM’s Contact Point Adjustment, you can set the distance between the brake pads and the disc brake rotor with extreme precision, giving you complete control over your brakes’ responsiveness. In addition, Reach Adjust technology ensures that the shifters are perfectly in line with your ideal riding position - it allows you to set exactly how far the brake and shift levers are positioned from the handlebars.

AXS Connect technology
Using the dedicated SRAM AXS app, you can fully configure the SRAM Rival AXS E1 drivetrain to your personal preferences. It gives you the freedom to choose whether you prefer traditional or synchronised shifting. What’s more, the app allows you to customise the function of the shift buttons and to easily integrate external components, such as a cycling navigation system or a dropper post, with the wireless system.

Ergonomic brake levers
The SRAM Rival AXS E1 shifters have a completely new and well thought-out design. Thanks to a raised pivot point and a subtle curve in the brake lever, you can now generate significantly more braking power while the operation feels lighter and smoother. The hoods on the shifters also have an optimised, ergonomic fit that sits comfortably in virtually any hand size. The rubber on these hoods has a specific texture for maximum grip in all conditions. Finally, SRAM has opted for carbon brake levers to make the updated shifter considerably lighter than its predecessors.
