The sole used in this Sidi Alba 2 W road cycling shoe is the Millennium 4 carbon composite sole. This sole is made of nylon and provides comfort, but also gives you enough stiffness while cycling because it is reinforced with carbon fibres.
The new Tecno-3 mechanism allows you to close the full-length shoe where it adjusts to the shape of your foot, providing an individualised fit. The reliable and completely replaceable closure has been improved with a new thread making the system even faster and easier to adjust.
Millennium 4 Carbon sole.
Made of nylon reinforced with carbon fibre. Carbon fibre gives the sole more stability, is more durable and more resistant to changes in sole stiffness from long-term use and temperature changes.
Politex
The politex material is composed of multiple layers with different properties of compacted PVC, textile and felt. It is shock and tear resistant, durable and colourfast. Made in compliance with European environmental directives.
Sidi heel
The reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimal position and prevents the shoe from being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
High security Velcro closure
This Velcro closure incorporates plastic teeth that interlock when the strap is closed. This makes the closure more secure and the belt becomes immobile.
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

Great narrow shoe with large toe box
Fantastic shoe, even with the glitter. One size up from other cycling shoe brands. I have very narrow feet and find the toe box quite big and although there are steps, you can't adjust them enough. So lots of room for my toes which I don't mind. The shoe fits fantastic around the heel, gives great support on the middle and has an adjustable instep.
