The Shimano S-PHYRE RC901 are Shimano's absolute top class road bike shoes for serious and professional cyclists. For the S-PHYRE products, only the most technical and high-quality technologies have been used. It is therefore not surprising that the cyclists of Team Jumbo Visma, among others, use these S-PHYRE racing bike shoes.
Combined construction of sole and upper shoe
The road bike shoe is made from a combined construction of sole and upper shoe. The result is an unparalleled good fit, enhanced pedal stability, stiffness and weight reduction. The excellent pedal stability is also achieved thanks to the extremely stiff full carbon sole. This ensures that every stroke is converted to the maximum amount of speed.
The Shimano Dynalast creates the most efficient upward movement to date
The foot position in a cycling shoe plays a crucial role when it comes to pedalling efficiency. Thanks to the use of Shimano Dynalast, the foot, in the Shimano S-PHYRE RC901, is in a good ergonomic position. This results in a very efficient upward pedaling movement. In short, you pedal more easily, creating even more speed.
The 2 independent Boa® IP1 dial systems guarantee perfect adjustment.
Both the upper and lower part of the shoe can be perfectly adjusted via the 2 independent Boa® IP1 dial systems. With a simple turn of the knob the wire is pulled tighter or looser over the shoe. When the desired tightness is reached, simply release the button. Even while cycling, these turning systems are easy and safe to use. The result is a cycling shoe with a very large adjustment range, which makes it suitable for a large number of foot types.
Integrated water drainage openings for rainy conditions
It may sometime happen that a road bike shoe fills up with water when it rains. This will not be the case with this S-PHYRE RC901, as integrated water drainage openings have been added. Through these holes water easily flows out of the shoe and you won't have to suffer discomfort.
The Shimano S-PHYRE RC901 road bike shoes ensure optimal performance and speed.

Detailed explanation of sizing in mm
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!
