Shimano G05S-RX Resin Disc Brake Pads

The Shimano G05S-RX Resin brake pads for MTB are the updated version of the well-known G03S brake pads. These Shimano G05S-RX Resin disc brake pads have better braking power and heat dissipation than their well-known predecessor (G03S), so they are even easier to modulate and more durable.

Excellent braking power and modulation thanks to the organic compound
These organic brake pads consist of soft materials. This gives them excellent control and braking power. The soft compound also gives them a quick grip. In addition, it ensures that the brake pads produce little noise when you're riding. The downside of organic brake pads is that they are not great at handling higher temperatures that can occur during long descents. In addition, organic brake pads wear more quickly if you ride in muddy conditions.

If you mainly ride your bike in the Netherlands, these organic brake pads are the perfect choice. However, if you use your bike mainly in the winter, or if you regularly go to hilly/mountainous areas, then you should opt for Semi-Metallic or Metallic brake pads.
