The Selle Italia Novus Boost Evo X-Cross TM Superflow saddles are made for off-road hard riders looking for a supportive yet comfortable saddle. This saddle from the Novus line is made to absorb as much vibration as possible thanks to the X-Boost technology, which gives this saddle a thicker padding and features dampers between the rails and the saddle shell. This saddle is also able to withstand rough riding as the edges are made from extra stiff material.
Saddle shape
The shape of this saddle is the 'waved shape', as Selle Italia calls it. This means that the back of the saddle rises and thus gives more support to less flexible riders with shorter hamstrings so they can adopt a deep sitting position.
Comfortable
Thanks to the large L3 cutout, you will experience less pressure on the seat in a deep riding position. The Selle Italia X-Cross version is the more comfortable variant of the Novus saddles and suitable for long rides. This is achieved thanks to a thicker padding in the saddle. This reduces vibrations that occur when riding on bad road surfaces.
Carbon reinforced saddle shell
The shell of this Selle Italia Novus Boost Evo X-Cross TM Superflow saddle is reinforced with carbon. This makes the saddle shell a lot stiffer, which has two big advantages. The first advantage is that the shell retains its shape longer and does not sag as quickly. This makes the saddle last longer. The second advantage is that the power transfer is improved due to this extra stiffness. This ensures that you can cycle faster and with more control.

Good product for good money.

First of all, I would like to thank the Mantel company for providing the opportunity to try out the saddle for thirty days. Thanks to that, I was able to try on more saddles and on the third try I found this one, which fits me perfectly. Finally, I can spend much more time in the saddle without unpleasant pain. The saddle also provides me with good support. In addition, the design of the saddle is perfect and gives my bike an exceptional look.
