Description
The Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro LiteSkin is the turbo spike tyre. With 402 spikes, it really bites into icy roads. The nails out of wolfram carbid are embedded in an aluminium housing, saving weight. This ensures the mountainbike remains agile and sporty.

A combination of the latest technologies and high grade materials. The Evolution Line is the best type of tyre Schwalbe has to offer. With these tyres they have used the Triple Star Compound. This tyre is perfectly tailored to all the different bike disciplines.
Triple Star Compounds: Pace Star
Like all Triple Star tyres this tyre is built out of three parts. On the light rolling base in the middle they have used a fast medium compound. This ensures a low rolling resistance when you ride in a straight line. The medium soft outer knobs provide grip when you ride over a technical single track. Everything about this tyre is tailored for cross country use.
LiteSkin
The lightest option when it comes to mountain bike tyres. LiteSkin tyres have no SnakeSkin layer, which makes running these tyres tubeless a difficult and skilled job. The stable, high-pressure core designed to keep the tyre on the rim at low pressures is still used in the tyre though. LiteSkin tyres use the Pace Star compounds, and are the weapon of choice for men and women going into battle on the cross country courses!

Perfect for what they are made for on ICE = fun

I had the same tyre in a 26", now with a bigger wheel have gone to the larger size. These tyres are just as good as the smaller 26" tyres I had before. You will not stop smiling when out on the trails covered in ice and fell safe having fun!

These tyres are spot on when it's icy, saved me a few times when riding the strathpuffer 24hr race in Scotland.

Perfect for what they are made for on ICE = fun
I had the same tyre in a 26", now with a bigger wheel have gone to the larger size. These tyres are just as good as the smaller 26" tyres I had before. You will not stop smiling when out on the trails covered in ice and fell safe having fun!
