Good product... perhaps a little too delicate for 'normal' users
As usual SRAM XX1 is a safety. Flawless operation, light, precise... In my opinion, however, the materials are a bit too 'delicate' for XC use with people who can't afford to change components for 'every race'... I had the previous model and in a short time, unfortunately, the clutch came loose making the shifts not precise, the materials were damaged by the stones. It's probably suitable for professional use that has no problem changing components when needed. I have however put my trust in SRAM again in the hope that the new version will be more robust.

Top quality!
Fitted on my Giant Trance as a replacement for the SX I was not satisfied with. Now it is as it should be: trouble-free shifting, finally.

Good but expensive
Nice lightweight derailleur that shifts very well. Perhaps a bit more susceptible to damage due to the carbon cage. The spring seems tighter than of the cheaper eagle variants, making it shift just a little better.
