Positively surprised how quiet my chain is and how clean the whole drive train stays. Just a dry wipe over it after a ride and you're done. Re-waxing is only necessary when you start hearing the chain again.

I degreased my new chain and then waxed it twice with squirt lube. Then keep track, say night before, if you expect rain on each links a small drip. It drips very easily and evenly from the bottle as you slowly rotate the chain. If the chain is very wet from the rain I do dry it for a while, this is fine with a cotton cloth, with this wax you don't get black grease on your hands. After more than a year, my chain still looks great.

Very easy to apply product because it is a visible white liquid. If by accident a drop lands on the ground, it is very easy to remove without using chemicals. The only disadvantage is that the product has a habit of accumulating near the derailleur wheels, so you need to clear these a little more. If you want to clean the chain and sprockets, it goes very smoothly using warm water and a little soap, so no chemicals either. I have also found that the chain wears much less quickly compared to chain oil. And if your chain falls off once in a while, you hardly have any dirt on your fingers.

I love how clean and gunk-free this leaves my chain: rather than oily black mess to clean off, it just leaves a little waxy residue which is easy to deal with. Also has the bike running smooth and quietly. Downside is that the first application is tiresome: even starting with a new chain, you need to strip all the grease off and make it perfectly clean before applying the wax. Out on the road, my first application didn’t last all that long: things got noticeably noisy after about 100km. Hopefully repeat applications will build up to form a longer-lasting coating.

Previously, I used all kinds of oils and/or sprays. These sufficed reasonably well but always the chain was contaminated by road dirt and mud. Since using Squirt Lube, I no longer have this problem and the chain lasts longer.

Before first use, clean and degrease the chain GOOD. Afterwards, brushing with possibly some water is sufficient for subsequent applications. Works better than oil. The only thing that works even better is a bath of paraffin and Teflon powder. But yes, Teflon is junk and this is biodegradable.

Ever since my son-in-law Cycling and NK beach racing fanatic tipped me this stuff I never want anything else. I use it for my Surly trekking bike. No more of that dirt-attracting chain oil from before! During trekking holidays I always add some, besides the necessary tools ! After applying it, I let the chain slide through my squeezed hand for perfect distribution. Something that would not occur to me with normal chain oil.

At first I thought it was expensive for such a bottle. I bought it anyway and it turns out to be a good investment because it saves you a lot of money. It saves you money because it attracts almost no dirt. So this ensures a smooth drivetrain without dirt. As a result, your cassettes and chain hardly wear out. Also, the bottle hardly runs out. (With 10 cycling hours a week, I do a year with a bottle). Very happy with this purchase.

This stuff is brilliant! I regret not using it sooner. I am one of those riders that prides himself on the silence of his drivetrain. A noisy chain or cassette are enough to send me over the edge. I have been using regular oil/dry lube by Dynamic on my chain, in a shimano 105 (r7000) set up. After degreasing and relubing a new chain, it was unbelievably loud... I read some reviews and reddit threads that suggest r7000 is very sensitive to lube type. Many recommended wax so i thought i'd give this a shot as it's easier to apply than a proper submersible wax, but has many of the same benefits. The preparation is a faff. Your chain needs to be COMPLETELY clean and dry, and you need to do a couple of applications. But once done, it cleans off with a brush, it doesnt leave grease on clothes or skin, and it's beautifully smooth and silent too. Reapplication is as simple as dripping it on a chain for a few rotations, and letting it dry overnight. You can't relube immediately before a ride. That's the only downside I've seen. Will be using from now on!

Is your chain technically worn (0.1mm on the Rohloff gauge)? Clean well and apply two drops to each roller: once on the inside of the chain and once on the outside. Leave overnight. Repeat every other week. Your chain will last 3000 km longer. Now if you lubricate once with oil, the magic is gone.

Always used 'regular' lube for the chain, consequence after 1 rain shower everything squeaked and creaked and always black chain. On advice I switched to chain wax, great stuff! Yes you must first degrease/polish your chain well and in the beginning it seems to leave more dirt behind but once it is in, polishing the chain is a piece of cake! Just wipe it clean and it stays clean. The advantage is that you don't have to re-lubricate the chain every bike ride. Hardly attracts any dirt and no more squeaking in the rain!

I was somewhat skeptical and therefore never got around to it. Because, of course, a good lubricating oil works fine too. But fair is fair, that's also crap with PTFE that we really should get rid of. You use a little more of this than oil, but it works like a charm and also hardly attracts dirt. I'm over!

I really like this lubricant. Chain stays clean, even in the rain and when riding over dusty surfaces. Notice that I have to put 1 drop per link once every 8 rides to maintain it. Chain cleaning is virtually unnecessary so far. Super stuff!

Protects your chain from moisture and thus rust. The wax layer adheres thinly to the walls of your chain, providing both light lubrication and repelling dirt.

Applied this wax on thoroughly cleaned chain. Now 1000 km on in rain and wind you just see much less dirt accumulation. Definitely keep using this stuff.

Always my chain was black and took me a long time to clean. Now that I use this chain wax, I suddenly enjoy cycling much more. When I get home, the chain is almost completely clean and I only need to do a little to be able to cycle well again the next day. I've been using this product for 2 years with great satisfaction. You have to learn how to use it, because unlike oils, you have to apply it the day before to allow it to dry. Practically every lubricant on the market already tried with this one coming out as the absolute winner, despite its minor drawbacks. I ride marathons, long distances and multi-hour races and this lubricant holds up extremely well in relatively dry weather. Rides of 150km go smoothly. If there is a fair amount of rain, the effect will dissipate more quickly, but even then a good 100km is still achievable if you don't intentionally ride through large puddles of water. Applying it is easy and if you do it right everything stays nice and clean.
