Poor quality, really disappointed me from schwalbe

- Camiel, 24 May, 2025

Tyres are stylish but severely disappointed me on the bikebakamtie back from Switzerland to the Netherlands with a section of gravel paths, within less than 800 kilometres the rear tyre was completely bald and a puncture as a result.

Pros & Cons

Beautiful design
Absolutely no strength and wear resistance, disappointment
Due to tubeless ready a bit more difficult to mount

Very easy to assemble.

- Alain, 25 January, 2025

Easy to fit to rims by hand. All you have to do is try them out in the field to see how effective they are.

Perfecte aankoop voor mijn doel

- Olivier, 27 November, 2024

Ideale band voor mijn gebruik. Fiets veel op verharde wegen en toch kan je ook onder de voeten uit op niet verhard terrein

Pros & Cons

Lekbestendig
Ook prima voor zanderig terrein
Super band voor aangelegde wegen

Easy assembly, smooth running

- Stephan, 14 August, 2024

As expected, the Thunder Burt rolls easily and still offers the necessary grip in bends and off-road. I was surprised by the significantly less force required to mount it on my DT Swiss rims compared to the Conti Race King.

Lightweight fast tyre

- Steffen, 16 July, 2024

As tyres are getting heavier and heavier thanks to the e-bike boom, There are only a few options left !!!! For sporty riders, the Thunder Burt is still an option

Top tyre that looks nice

- Mathieu, 18 March, 2024

Beautiful-looking tyre that gives you plenty of grip. Remove inner part of your French valve to fold the tyre around the rim. Otherwise it won't work.

Pros & Cons

Fast tyre with plenty of grip
Difficult to fit tubeless yourself

Fast tyre with excellent performance.

- Vincent, 3 December, 2023

I was looking for a tyre that was fast on both tarmac and track, but still capable of technical, MTB-style descents. This tyre didn't disappoint. Of course, the studs are low and small, but it does well on technical terrain. Make sure you choose the right pressure for your type of terrain.

Good buy for dry land

- Nicolas, 2 July, 2022

I haven't put a lot of miles on these tyres yet, but they seem to be doing the job. When fitted to a carbon rim, you need a tool to thread the bead wire through. The BBB tool is perfect for this. Pressurisation is perfect. They snap on straight away and seal well. Weights checked 526 and 576g. I'm testing them this weekend on sandy ground...

Pros & Cons

Lightweight
Rolling
A tool is required for carbon rims!

fast tyre, but also quick to puncture!

- Robb, 5 May, 2022

Fine tyre if you ride on the road, however, it does puncture super fast. I had ordered them for a trip in Belgium over gravel and mtb trails. Over 100km, 5 holes/tears in the tyres. I had put the tyres on new before the time. i had made them tubeless but that didn't matter. it squirted out and the tyre unfortunately didn't seal. Not even with a plug. Once home I changed right back to the Racing Ray and Ralph.

Pros & Cons

fast tyre
great grip on the road, even on gravel and forest paths
steers easily
super quick to puncture

4 / 5

Good tyre if you avoid very wet terrain.

- Reinhard, 9 April, 2022

Very good tyre, if you ride off-road and asphalt surfaces ,in combination with the Aerothan tube from Schwalbe it is a full throttle rocket.

Pros & Cons

Good rolling behaviour
Low weight
Very quiet on asphalt
Little grip in the wet
Low puncture protection
Tread wears out quickly

5 / 5

Super fast with very good grip in the corners.

- Roy, 29 March, 2022

Low rolling resistance, very good grip in corners. Can go through corners at quite a slant Also grip on steep climbs. Have 2.1 inch wide tyres seems quite narrow , but ride super. Fit easily on the rim (Syncross Scott) To make tubles you need to be handy. See photos Tension strap or rope lightly over the tread , then inflate!

Pros & Cons

High cornering grip
Light
Very fast
For summer only
