Mavic Allroad SL

A very good price for very good wheels. One thing though, when we say 9-10-11 speed compatible wheels, it would be nice to point out that for 9 and 10 speed cassettes you need to buy a 1.75mm spacer.

First of all these wheels are superb and very well finished. They give an impression of lightness but I haven't weighed them. After two medium mountain Gravel outings, one of which was 100km and 1900d+, I can say that these wheels are very responsive with very good performance, which doesn't stop them from being comfortable. They are fitted with Pirelli Centurato Gravel M tyres and work really well tubeless with low pressure 1.7 fwd 1.8 rew. Replacing basic OE wheels, the difference is enormous. The only small thing is the piece of internal tape protecting the weld? Will it hold when mounted tubeless with the preventive? I asked Mavic about it and they said to leave it in, without giving any details about its real usefulness or how it would hold up over time. Reliability over time remains to be seen

Nice wheels with hookless rims. Weight perfect for an aluminium set. Low rim is ideal for windy days. Wide internal size lets the tyres 'drop' nicely.

Good lateral rigidity, very responsive to pedalling

I changed my fulcrum rapid red 900 wheels for the allroad SL, I didn't think I would have such a difference in performance with only a weight gain of 450 to 500 grams, it's not the same bike, these wheels are a call to kill, we always want to send the watts, the only factor limiting our physical condition.

Very good product, controlled weight and top quality. I recommend them to change the way your bike handles! Tested as soon as I received them during a 4-day trek in Brittany, and what a pleasure!

Super wheelset for in my gravel bike 650b allowing thicker tyres to fit this results in more comfort. Weight is higher as stated namely 1610 grams.
