Pay peanuts, get monkeys
So I thought I’d save a couple of euros by buying this one instead of the Schwalbe: I soon found out better. After 30 km, it split at the valve – just as several reviews had mentioned (which I hadn’t read, because surely Mantel wouldn’t risk its reputation by ripping off customers with substandard products?) I hope the sales manager is happy with his bonus.

You get what you pay for
Fitted twice with a 2.35-inch Schwalbe tyre; both times it went flat the first time I pumped it up. In both cases, the puncture occurred at the edge of the valve base. I also found the tyre to be quite narrow when pumping it up before fitting.

I will go for a slightly higher quality inner tube from now on
First tyre (front tyre) gave way after only 130km, second tube (rear tyre) gave way after 300km. Both without any perforation.

Bad batch was probably
Of the 5 tyres, 3 burst when inflating (in different wheels), 1 is in use and remains whole, and 1 is still in the box (Don't trust these tyres anymore)
