Excellent lamp for riding the road bike in the dark.
Good lamp, which you can easily switch between the brightest setting and standard lighting using "race mode". On normal setting, there are all kinds of unnecessary gradations in between, including flashing etc (which is the case with most lamps), completely unnecessary in my opinion. Now you can compare it to your car's high beam: you accelerate it on a dark stretch, it is bright enough for that too, and quickly switch it off again when there is an oncoming car. Thanks to the turning mechanism and rubber mounting, it is also easy to aim/adjust. No weird adapter or bracket to mount permanently. My evening riding season now lasts a little longer. Am very happy with it!

Super top lamp

Near-perfect lamp: reliable, powerful and very well designed, but overestimated range.
The Lezyne 1400+ is an excellent light. Robust, powerful and well thought-out, it offers several lighting modes, including Race mode, ideal for racing to avoid any handling errors. Battery life is good overall, but I still consider it to be a weak point in ultra-distance events like the Race Across France, for example. The 450 lumen mode, which in my opinion is the minimum for safe night-time riding, is advertised by Lezyne as providing 12.5 hours of autonomy. In reality, the lamp only lasts 8.5 hours, which I was able to check on two different models. So the claimed autonomy is clearly overestimated. (A big thank you to Mantel after-sales service, which was very responsive). Its weight can also be a disadvantage for some people, although in ultra or bikepacking the total weight of the bike is not really a priority. Apart from the very specific use that is ultra-cycling, this lamp is still perfect: reliable, powerful and very well designed.

Super lamp
It is a super bright and high-quality lamp. I rode with it at night and felt safe. You can't be overlooked with it

Top quality and very stable assembly
The lamp is top quality and extremely bright (in booster mode). On a night ride, the second brightest mode is enough for very good visibility. I was a little "afraid" of attaching the light to a fully integrated cockpit, but as soon as you have removed the round attachment, the light can be mounted very stably below or above the handlebars. No slipping.

Disappointed with performance
Lights up well but only for a short time. It's disappointing, I did a patent for which we drove partly at night.

Top, I don't use this one any more for my night mountain biking.
I already have a lamp on my bike (Aliexpress with remote battery, advertised at 6000 lumens, 2h max autonomy...). I was quite happy with it and bought this lamp as a complement to attach it to the helmet. In the end, it's so much brighter than the Aliexpress lamp that I don't even use it any more... The light is really powerful and the beam is really wide, and the "race" mode makes it very easy and intuitive to use. It has a (very) long battery life and what's more it can be recharged using usb-c, so it's a really good lamp.

The purchase is 100% worthwhile
If necessary, the Lezyne Macro Drive shines very brightly, far and wide. Gapless light cone. Relatively strong glare effect if the lamp is set a little too high. So far the most effective light I've ever had.

Fantastic lamp
Because this lamp is so powerful, I use it not only for cycling. But also as a multifunctional torch or mini floodlight. Has been through a lot, but almost indestructible, so to speak. Highly recommended!

robust lamp that gives a lot of light
Previous (Lezyne) lamp broke after years of use, needed quick replacement due to commuting. Ordered in the evening and delivered the next day. Great anyway!

Top brand - top light
Lezyne is a top-ranked bike light seller. The feeling with this product is that the light is robust and well built. I was pleased with the wide angle of the light. Easy to install and remove. Power connection is standard usb C. Several light modes and level of intensity available. I would definitely recommend.

Good trail light. Would recommend.
Overall, this is a very good light for trail riding. I have only done up to two-hour rides for now, and I did not notice any decrease in brightness by switching between the two strongest stages (race setting).

Powerful, reliable and practical, with impeccable delivery via Mantel.
The Lezyne Macro Drive 1400+ is an excellent product. The lighting power is great, even in the darkest conditions. The battery life is more than sufficient for my long outings, and the attachment system is very practical. What's more, delivery via Mantel was quick and hassle-free. I can highly recommend this product!

Top bike lamp for fair money
The lamp was delivered quickly. Once fully charged, I have been driving to the shop and back home with 900 lumen mode every day for almost 2 weeks. I've had the Mega Drive for 10 years now. But the Macro Drive is much lighter, quicker to mount, charge and even brighter than the Mega Drive when needed. Top product

Top of the range bike lighting
Having had a Lezyne 1000XL lamp for a few years, which I was delighted with (and which always worked at its best... Until my bikes and the headlight were stolen...), and after trying a few competing products and never finding anything as good, I came back to Lezyne with their 1400 Macro Drive model. Absolutely not disappointed. I can't see much difference from the 1000XL model I had in terms of lighting power (normally 400 lumens more), but it already lights up very, very well. I regularly ride at night in winter with short days and unlit roads, and even at a good speed, over 50km/h, it feels safe. I only use it in 'race mode', i.e. with only 2 lighting modes: maximum power, and low beam, let's say (useful for switching quickly and not dazzling other road users too much). Great range, even at full power, so you can set off without a care in the world, even on a journey of 40 km or more at night. The little extra over the old model is the USB type C socket, which is more practical than the micro USB. Otherwise, the only negative point I can find is that the headlamp is attached to the attachment system, so each time you recharge, you have to 'play' with the elastic rubber attachment to remove it. On the other hand, the system is well designed, and holds up very well even in the event of heavy impact (tested even on a mountain bike, it didn't budge). A final word for Mantel: first order with them, really good. Delivery on time, and very competitive price, I hadn't seen a better price on this model on any other site. I'll be back. : )

TOP value for money
Perfect for night outings, whether on roads, paths or even woods, the different modes make it easy to switch from one to the other.

Good lamp, but it's a shame about the fixing system!
It's a shame that Mantel no longer sells the Led Qpro Mount! The original mounting system is really impractical, difficult to put on. I have to put the light on and take it off every day to avoid theft. The classic gopro system can easily be stolen if a bike is parked in the street. Powerful light that looks well made. The large battery and robust materials make it heavy and cumbersome.

It is not ideal, but it comes very close!
Like other lamps, this one has a bit too many (unnecessary) (flashing) modes. Personally, I don't understand why manufacturers don't differentiate a bit more. "One for all" seems nice, but it's not necessarily super user-friendly. * Fortunately (!) this lamp has a "race mode"! * Containing 2 well usable modes: one a fine mode for in traffic built-up areas, the other an overdrive for pitch-dark roads in the countryside. The large battery capacity also makes this lamp especially interesting for that user in city traffic on that squeezed mode; over 12 hours! A minus point is the attachment: lamp is sensitive to turning away on a slightly bumpy cobblestone road. So tighten it a bit more. It is a pity there is no possibility to screw/click it on with an (optional) clamp. I imagine there is a market and target group for all modes of this lamp (including flashing for 300 hours on one battery charge). It's not ideal, but it comes very close! Especially if you can use the race mode modes off. If you prefer to switch between two other modes, you'll understand why I say "almost" (ideal).

Strong, fine lamp
Very nice lamp. Only thing I would have liked was a way to leave the attachment on the bike and be able to take the lamp off. Now the whole lamp comes off and on and I still have to keep checking if it's right.

The best front light I've ever had
This is a great front light. Compared to other lights, the control button can also be operated with gloves. The light output is brilliant and the mounting rubber fits perfectly around the handlebars. I can't yet judge the battery performance conclusively.

Good for everyday use. Good for off-road night riding
The best light I've ever had. Very bright. Well suited for night rides in the countryside/forest. Good functions: - Light pulsation at dusk - Race mode: switch between full and half power - USB-C connection

A great light for bike training in autumn and winter
Hi there, I'm not the type to have fun on the reel, so get out even if it's no fun at the moment. The light is just right for that

This is a perfect lamp, long battery life and lots of light
Perfect lamp. Many settings, holds last setting. Lots of light in a perfect beam. Battery lasts very long.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great light but unfortunately not such a great holder.
Great lamp with many light levels. An acceptable battery life even at the brightest level and the possibility to ride in pitch darkness and see the way, especially when road conditions are not good. Unfortunately, the bracket is fixed to the housing. Solid, but it would be practical if the bracket and lamp could be separated.

Very good and bright light
The good thing about the light is that the battery lasts quite a long time and you always know when you need to recharge it thanks to the battery status display.

Good purchase!
Drove it for a full autumn night. On the lowest setting, the lamp easily lasted 11h. The lowest setting is sufficient for cycling on both lit and unlit (but paved) roads. So super, especially in terms of price-quality.
Pros & Cons

Perfect for along the canal!
Super light, for some it will be on the heavy side. But for that brightness and battery life prefer it that way! Do commuting 45km with many kilometres along the canal. There is little to no street lighting there. Perfect bike light to solve this.
Pros & Cons

Super lamp, poor fastening system.
Strong lamp with differences lamp modes from a soft light, to flashing light to a very bright light. Battery not yet tested (no judgement on it yet). The stretcher is practically impossible to get around your handlebars, and then attach the lamp with it.

It's really a great product
After extensive research, I chose this lamp and I'm really not disappointed. I use it on my suburban bike for about 1 hour out and 1 hour back, passing through undergrowth or along the marl with little or no lighting. Can be used for several days without recharging, and a light warns you when it's time to recharge. It's a small investment, but well worth it.

Tiptop luminaire
The light is great for road traffic. Unfortunately, the mounting is a bit tricky

definitely to be recommended
The luminosity and light duration are excellent. Furthermore, the Eco mode is already sufficient for normal journeys, which means that one battery charge lasts a long time. Well suited for bikepacking.

It more than does its job. It is very powerful and shines far and wide. Very light and easy to use. It would be nice if it showed the battery percentage.

Robust light for 2-hour trips in the dark
Solid light for rides tem 2 hours. Even for in the woods, you can get by with this light in combination with a lamp on your helmet Easy to adjust, I mainly use the race mode to change quickly if there should be oncoming traffic.

This lamp gives enough light to cycle safely in very dark surroundings. Everything is clearly visible, see photo. Is easy to use. Just twist the lamp to attach to your handlebars.

I'd recommend it.
This front light is great! It illuminates very well, but you have to avoid positioning it at too high an angle to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. The different modes are very useful depending on the time of day. This lighting is very good, even if it is expensive, it's worth the price. Personally, I think it's excellent value for money.

Perfect for staying gravelled outside summer.
Delivered day after ordering. Immediately used at dusk & dawn. Switched to race mode pretty quickly. Handy mode for switching during gravel ride between road and offroad. And for not blinding oncoming traffic in a forest. Do be surprised if the animals are startled and e.g. an owl suddenly flies away two metres in front of you... There are many different light modes, it remains to be seen whether I will effectively use them all (race mode seems to be sufficient). But handy that they are there. If you only cycle on well-lit roads, 1400 lumens seems superfluous to me.
