Giro Syntax MIPS

Very glad I upgraded to this helmet! It fits like a glove, much better than the cheaper helmet I had before. Besides, I also think it looks good and weighs very little. As my head is quite big, the chin strap only just fits. This results in the buckle sometimes coming off.

It's easy to forget when you're out and about.

As always: fast delivery and good price from Mantel. Helmet is comfortable, it took some time to get used to the straps but that is part of the deal. Mips makes the helmet feel a bit different from my previous one (without mips) but you quickly get used to that. Safety first of course! I also like the colour (white) and it helps you stand out a bit more in traffic.

The fit of the helmet is very good, partly due to the easily adjustable head circumference. Compared to my old helmet ( >10yrs ) there is more room to comfortably wear my sunglasses. Finally, the light weight makes that you don't experience any discomfort when wearing it.

Helmet ordered via internet, so could not try on beforehand, but trusted that previous reviews about good fit were justified. And this was correct. Easy to customize via adjusting screw.

This is my second time to order this helmet. I had a crash last year and this helmet saved me from any damage on my head. It was a bad crash but this one is a savior!! Highly recommended!

I ride two rides a weather on the mtb over xc trails. The helmet fits well and looks bad-ass with an Oakley sutro. Nice quality and totally in line with expectations

I think my old Kask Mojito XXL is no longer available and in my size (64) I have little choice. Bontrager XXL was too small so I returned it and now I ordered Giro. A few years ago only available in black but now also in white! Did 1 ride now, excellent!

This is the 2nd helmet of the same model that I've bought, as it protected me well during a nasty bike fall on September 18, 2022.

It is the second one I am buying because the first one saved my head in a fall did its job very well

My first helmet with MiPS. Straps easy to adjust at the ears and adjustable in three heights from behind. Sits nice but looks a bit "higher" compared to my Rogelli.

In my first outing with it I could see how there was a big difference with the previous helmet that I prefer to respect the brand and not say which one, but it is of quality too.

My head falls a bit between the lines. That makes some helmets look like I'm Toad from Super Mario. Other helmets were again too tight and pinched off somewhere. This helmet didn't. As far as possible, I barely felt the helmet and it has great comfort. Off to the mountains with this safe helmet!

The helmet fits people with a mix of oval & round head shapes. Giro simply offers the optimal helmets for such head shapes.

This is a very nice helmet. It fits well and is easily adjustable. It looks very nice and has lots of ventilation holes. Only downside is the price, but I think there are few helmets of this quality for a lower price. So therefore not really a downside.

Top helmet, good value for money. The helmet was, as usual from Mantel, quick to arrive. Nicely packaged. After the unpacking party I tried on the helmet, it was so comfortable! Adjusting it was easy. The helmet fits nicely around the skull, so a lot less 'mushroom effect' compared to my old helmet. The colour is also great, nice matt black finish. Happy with it!

I have a small head and struggle to find helmets that fit and don’t look massive. I wanted a MIPS helmet below £100 so the Syntax seemed like a good choice. The design is compact and fits great. Only tried it once so far, on a 30 mile hot afternoon the cooling was good and I barely noticed I was wearing it. Only minor complaint is the buckle doesn’t have a cushioned cover but to be fair I didn’t find it uncomfortable. Highly recommended.

Worth noting I was on the edge between a M and a L in the size guide. In the end went for M as the actual sizing comes up on the large end of the spectrum. The fit of this is great for me.

This helmet fits like a glove once adjusted providing maximum comfort. Mantel were awesome both on price and customer service. As soon as this item was back in stock it was very quickly despatched. I couldn't be more pleased and will certainly use Mantel again. Thoroughly recommended.

Had many Giro helmets this is one of the best. Giro allways feel great but this is an even better fit its so snug on the head and also looks very small without any bulk. It would be hard to justify spending more just for a few gram's. Its also well suited mtb as it has a bit more protection around the back. Its the perfect helmet for road and mtb.

A great purchase. I tried on many top brand helmets in my search for a new one and this was easily the most comfortable for me. It looked the least obtrusive as well. Very satisfied and good value for money.
