The usual high quality from Continental.

Happy with the wheels
It feels stable and fast

Very good, though it does wear out a bit faster than its predecessor
I’ve had a really good experience with this tyre; it’s just a shame that it wears out much faster than its predecessor, the 4000. But so far, I think these are the best tyres for my bike.
Pros & Cons

A top-quality strap and very competitively priced compared to other brands
A decent tyre, just what you’d expect for the price. I think it’s a real shame that the 30mm version and anything wider aren’t available in a skin-wall version. Personally, I think that’s a missed opportunity.

Fine compromise between handling and reliability

the band I dare to order without hesitation
just rode 100km on it, immediately feels more comfortable than the 23mm continentals that were on it before. for me, this is the tyre i dare to order without any doubts. setup: scott foil with zipp rims, butyl inner tubes, 80mm. fitting was very easy.

Top tyre but not perfect
After a big slide with Yaw Power tyres on wet roads, fitted these Continental Grandprix 5000. Super good grip in corners, sticks to the road surface as it were and comfortable. Super easy to fit and also seems to go a bit faster. They are not cheap and I personally find the tread wear indicator a bit on the low side. Not a 10/10, but 8 or 9/10. Throw the price down a bit or increase the mileage to make it a top tyre for me at least.
Pros & Cons

Excellent tyre. Rarely punctured.
The previous 4000 series lasted longer. I do about 5 to 6000km with this tyre. Rarely punctured.

Highly recommended
Perfect tyres, however I had to reposition 1 tyre 3 times before it fitted properly. In the end, using a tyre nipper and pumping to 7.5 bar, it fitted properly

Good, durable and above all fast outer tyre.
I have tried numerous types and brands and still keep coming back to the Con. GP 5000.
Pros & Cons

Fine all-round band. Difficult to fit
Fine, fast and sturdy tyres. First time fitting is quite a job. I needed a tyre guy and two extra pairs of hands. First time maximum inflation to get it in good shape

Good, but beware of fragility
For the moment they are new, no problem, but a friend of mine has already broken several due to a natural fragility caused by a puncture or tearing.

Super band!
Easy to put on the wheel and looks sleek!

Without tyre levers, I couldn't get them on the rim.
Just a reliable tyre that rolls well. Only drawback is getting it onto the rim. Ended up having to use tyre levers because it wasn't doable otherwise.

Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Hoping for more luck and less bad luck (leak)
Easy to mount/dismount without tire takers, but unfortunately punctured already in the second ride, (hopefully) this was a lot of PECH, have/ride Continental 4000 and have ridden Michelin Pro 4, thickly satisfied with both tires, so time will tell if these 5000 are better, at least the start was not good.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Definitely do not hesitate to purchase
Positive nice stable tire with good grip
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
It has a light and smooth, grippy ride while offering little resistance.
I am happy with the cover, although it would be appreciated to improve the assembly and disassembly. It takes at least two disassemblies and a lot of effort, with the possible risk of damaging the inner tube. Otherwise, it is perhaps the best tire I have tried.
Pros & Cons

Top tire good grip dry and wet
Top tire good grip dry and wet. In winter I do use the 4seasons 28mm from Cinti
Pros & Cons

Have been using Continental racing tires for the past 10 years. They never disappoint, so it really takes something for me to switch. Drive about 8000 km annually

Everything was perfect.
The covers are perfect.
4 / 5
I recommend this tire to those who want road grip and not necessarily eternal durability.
I have been using this cover for about three years now, and I am more than satisfied. I used to use the 4000 before and the improvement is obvious. I use them during competitions and therefore abuse them, but so far I am more than satisfied.

Top tire
Best tire around. Excellent mantel service
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Still the best tyres around
Very smooth running tyres, quite durable and puncture resistant, but sidewalls need to be checked every month for cracks. One I bought last year developed a 1cm crack after about 8 months causing the tube to protrude and puncture even though the tyre hadn’t worn down to the wear indicators. Hopefully these ones are better.

Right choice for comfortable/security in the road
Very Good Tyres; expensive but who wants security/confortable all year round is the right selection! an upgrade from the already very good GP4000; the only challenge is still the durability of the tyres

Pros & Cons

The tire for every experienced cyclist.
The GP 5000 can be used for both training and racing. It's a good compromise between flexibility/speed and robustness. The only downside is that it wears out faster than its predecessor, the GP 4000.
Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons
4 / 5
is already the third train I buy, for me they are the best currently
excellent clinchers, tried both 28mm TL version (very smooth) and classic, I have punctured (due to pinching) with the latter only 1 time in 2 years, by the way the day after mounting them, then stop!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good tire in its class!
The degree prix 5000 contenental is a Good race tire for cycling tourists!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Very good
Only once disappointed by the GP5000, but that was due to a defect in the tire. Good longevity despite high rider weight. Very good tire. Easier to mount on a 28 than a 25.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
price quality
I also used these tires previously on the road bike (25 wide). Now the 28'ers are occasionally on the gravel bike, for road rides. Great tires.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
An excellent tire, which will never disappoint in terms of grip, unfortunately in terms of wear resistance.
Very fast tire with great grip in all weather conditions, only they do wear out very fast. Rear tire 4000 km, 70 kg.... Once worn out you ride flat quickly.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Received well and quickly
Tubeless was not there . So this one on
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great tire except for the mounting
Very fine and very good tire. Especially in (sharp) corners it performs very well and much better than other quality tires. Only one big disadvantage is that they are really hard to mount. I like them better than the schwalbe one. But I still ride the one now because the gp5000 are really hard to mount on my rims, and with a flat on the road you really don't want that. I hope continental will improve that part. In terms of performance, I think the gp5000 is great.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Currently The Top Clincher
I have been trying different tires for years, but like continental 5000 g p I have never found any, the best even for the Rolling Resistance site. I don't give 5 stars because you can always improve !
Pros & Cons

Familiar GP5000 tires with hip skinwall
I was in need of new tires because my previous set of GP5000 had worn out. I doubted for a long time whether skinwall would fit my bike. But I gave it a try otherwise you never know. I am very happy with the new look (see pictures) and trusted GP5000 tires.
