I had tested the torque wrench briefly and then it buckled fine at the torque. when I applied it to use 4.2 Nmm for tightening screw I used the ratchet. i happily kept turning trusting that it would buckle on its own. it didn't, i broke the as-screw and was able to have it drilled out at the bike shop. i suspect it's in that you have to reach the torque in 1 turn of the ratchet and not stop in between.
