POC Octal MIPS 2016 Road Bike Helmet

POC have made another Octal helmet. It looks the same with good ventilation and comfortable qualities, but has an additional safety system. The Octal MIPS helmet has been equipped with MIPS technology (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) to reduce the rotational forces to the brain in the case of an oblique impact.

The Octal helmet provides more coverage and additional protection of the temples and back of the head, and the EPS liner is strategically thicker in the most exposed areas.

POC has a different approach to ventilation in an helmet. Instead of using a lot of smaller air slots, this helmet has fewer but larger ventilation slots so you can keep your head cool in warm conditions.

The fully wrapped unibody shell construction functions as a monocoque and enhances the safety properties and construction integrity of the helmet.
