Seat-Lock attachment system
Thanks to the innovative and patented Seat-Lock mounting system, the Seat-Pack QR is very stable and easy to remove. By using the included adapter clamp, you can even use it on dropper posts, where the bag takes up just 4.3 centimetres of the seat post. With standard seat posts, the Seat-Pack QR only needs 3 centimetres of mounting space on the seat post.
No wet stuff
Once you have started your cycling adventure, even the rain will not stop you with the Ortlieb Seat-Pack QR. This saddle bag is made from waterproof fabric. Moreover, the roll closure prevents rainwater from seeping in, keeping your belongings well protected against mud and rain. There is also a protective plate attached to the bottom of this saddlebag, which serves as a mudguard and prevents damage to the bag.
Easy access
The Seat-Lock attachment system allows you to mount and remove the bag from your bike very quickly for easy access to your gear. If you leave the Seat-Pack QR on your bike, your gear is also easily accessible from the top. The elastic cord attachment on the top gives you extra storage space for a jacket or body warmer for the road. This can be quickly and easily attached and removed behind the elastic cord attachment.
Compact
The Ortlieb Seat-Pack QR features five compression straps that allow you to easily adjust the contents of this bikepacking bag. The valve allows you to drain the air from the saddlebag for maximum compactness.
Reflectors and taillight attachment
The bag has a number of reflectors and a daisy chain for mounting a rear light. With the Seat-Pack QR, you will be visible in dark conditions.

Perfect for bikepacking adventures: stable, waterproof and quick to install.
I've been using the Seat-Pack QR for several weeks on bikepacking trips lasting from 2 to 4 days. Installation is really intuitive, the fixing system on the saddle rails is one of the strongest I've tested, and the bag stays perfectly in place, even on gravel sections or technical descents. Access is easy thanks to the wide opening, and the 13L capacity is more than enough for light gear (down jacket, mattress, dehydrated meals...). Even when fully loaded, the bag retains its shape and doesn't sway. It's not ultra-light, but the construction is robust and built to last. Special mention should be made of the effective compression system and the air valve, which makes for compact storage. In short, a really good product, provided you accept its slightly high price.

Great saddlebag the stays firmly in place whatever the terrain. Only downside is that I had to change my saddle because the anchoring did not fit, but in retrospect that was also a good upgrade.
