Description
Description
The Northwave Extreme GT 3 are cycling shoes for men, where comfort and excellent pedalling efficiency go hand in hand. With these cycling shoes, you will experience an unparalleled fit without pressure points. This fit is very precise and fine-tuned by means of the two dial closures. Thanks to the carbon sole, you can transfer power to the pedals extremely effectively, so your efforts on the road bike are perfectly converted into speed. This lightweight cycling shoe has a perforated upper, which ensures good ventilation. This reduces the chance of overheated feet.
The Northwave Extreme GT 3 is equipped with the Morph Carbon 12 AAS sole. It has a full carbon insert with a stiffness index of 12.0 in the pedal area. This ensures that the power you deliver goes directly to the pedals, to be converted into speed. The Morph Carbon 12 AAS sole also features the exclusive Anatomical Arch Support. This is made from TPU and it ensures that this cycling shoe moulds itself perfectly to the arch of your foot. This gives you excellent support and is ideal for all types of feet.
Perfect fit with optimal pressure distribution.
These cycling shoes from Northwave are made with the patented XFrame 2 construction. This makes the upper capable of delivering an extremely effective power transfer. In addition, the XFrame 2 construction offers a great fit, without pressure points. The fit of this road bike shoe can be adjusted via the two SLW3 rotating buckles. Together they provide a very even pressure distribution and excellent comfort.
Other features
The Northwave Extreme GT 3 is equipped with an integrated heel system with anti-slip fiber. This prevents the heel from sliding in the shoe. Furthermore, the heel has a new design without stitching. This guarantees comfort and a ´second skin effect'. Finally, these cycling shoes can be used with a Speedplay adapter. Please note that these are not included.
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!
