Description
Extensive explanation size in cm
The size denoted in cm tells you how long the shoe is. This size was taken on the inside of the shoe measuring from the heel to the toes. In order to determine what size you’ll need, you can measure your own foot. Do this by placing a piece of paper on the floor tucked against the wall. Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall. Draw a line at your big toe. Measure the distance between that and the wall, and add approximately 5 mm. The number of centimeters is the size in centimeters found on our website. Which specific EU/UK size you need can differ between brands. This is because each brand uses their own boot tree, causing the shoe to be bigger or smaller than the size would suggest. This is why we’ve added the size in centimeters for all of our shoes. We’ve also categorised our shoes in three different groups: narrow, medium, and wide. In order to determine the width of your foot, you can use this table.

Sartorially Superb!
Shoes are ace! You can get them really tight with the laces. They look very retro and are comfortable even on long rides. There's a need to wear overshoes in the wet of course as with any bright white shoe! I love them and they come with a neat bag for storage too.

Amazing disco slippers
These are simply delightful shoes. This are my first pair of Empires and I'm seriously considering another pair. What drew me to these was the gimmicky reflective finish (which is simply stunning in low light and darkness), but I'm really impressed by the quality and fit of the shoe. You're ablate really dial in the tightness etc with the back to basics laces, who would have though that! I can't recommend the service from Mantel enough either. I used them purely based on the fact they had the best price on the internet for the Empires and never used them before. The service was superb, well communicated and lightening quick delivery to the UK. Thanks again, I look forward to using you again in the future.
