Gaadi Open Binnenband SV Inner Tube

The Gaadi inner tube with two open ends is the clever solution for anyone who wants to quickly repair a puncture whilst out and about or at home. Normally, replacing an inner tube on an e-bike or city bike takes a lot of time: you have to loosen the wheel nuts, open the chain guard, disconnect the gear cables and remove the chain. With the Gaadi open inner tube, you simply cut or snip through the old punctured tube and pull it out from between the frame and the wheel. You then slide the new Gaadi tube straight into the outer tyre.

Thanks to its two sealed ends, the inner tube fits perfectly inside the outer tyre as soon as you inflate it. This means you don’t need to remove the rear wheel from the frame at all. This makes this inner tube an absolute lifesaver for commuters, e-bike owners and anyone who dreads the hassle of dismantling a wheel.

• Two-end construction: The tyre has two sealed ends with a matching shape. When inflated, the ends fit seamlessly together within the outer tyre, without creating any noticeable thickening or bulge.

• High-quality butyl rubber compound: The elastic rubber used ensures excellent airtightness and tensile strength, meaning the tyre maintains its pressure just as reliably as a standard inner tube.

Compatible with:
• City bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes and mum bikes with wheel sizes from 16 to 29 inches.

• Outer tyres with an ETRTO width that corresponds to the selected variant (for example, 37–57 mm or 60–74 mm).

• Rims with a valve hole that is compatible with the Sclaverand/French valve type.

Not compatible with:

• Tyres with an ETRTO width outside the specified range for the selected variant.

Not sure? Here’s how to check:

• Look at the sidewall of your current tyre and find the ETRTO size (e.g. 40-622 or 47-622). Choose the Gaadi variant where your ETRTO width falls within the range (e.g. 37–57 mm).
Check whether your wheel has a narrow, French valve.

• 1x Gaadi inner tube with Sclaverand/French valve, valve cap and valve ring

Fitting a Gaadi inner tube is very straightforward. You don’t need to remove the wheel from the bike.

Tools required:
• Set of 3 tyre levers.

• A sharp knife or wire cutters to cut through the old inner tube.

• Bicycle pump

Step-by-step guide; see also the video at the top of the page:
• Deflate the old inner tube completely and pry one side of the outer tyre loose using the tyre levers.

• Pull the old inner tube out a little way and cut or snip it through. Pull the old tyre out completely.

• Insert the valve through the valve hole in the rim.

• Tuck the two ends of the Gaadi inner tube neatly into the outer tyre.

• Press the tyre back onto the rim, ensuring the inner tube is not pinched.

• Pump it up to the desired tyre pressure.

• Before fitting the new tyre, check the inside of the outer tyre with your fingers for sharp objects such as thorns or glass.

• Carry a Gaadi inner tube, tyre levers and a compact hand pump in your pannier: that way, if you get a puncture whilst out cycling on your bike, you’ll be back on the road within a few minutes.
