The Fizik Antares R3 Open saddle is the most allround saddle in the Fizik collection, not as specific as the Aliante or Arione. This makes the Fizik Antares Open suitable for most cyclists. This cut-out, combined with the Kium rails, offers more comfort when making long rides in the saddle.
The Fizik Antares R3 Open saddle is made for those that Fizik calls ‘Chameleons’. A Chameleon is a cyclist with a quite flexible back. In terms of its form, the Antares Open saddle is a mix between the Arione Open and Aliante Open saddles. This saddle offers good support in all cycling positions. I had had a comfi gel saddle from Sella Italia for a few years and thought it would be wise to replace it once . Based on the 30-day money-back policy of mantel, I opted for this Fizzik. The decision aid was very helpful. The saddle performs beyond expectations , it is not just comfortable , it provides better balance and less friction on the inside of the legs . My cadence and suppleness of stroke have improved significantly. For me at least it's a real winner.
