DT Swiss C 1800 Spline 23 Disc Cyclocross Front Wheel

The DT Swiss C 1800 Spline 23 Disc wheels are the wheels for you if cyclocross is your passion. With an internal rim width of 22 mm and an external rim width of 26 mm, 33 mm cyclocross tyres fit perfectly. Even tyres from 30 mm to 62 mm can be mounted on these rims. This means that these rims can easily cope with the most technical descents and cross-country races. The C 1800 Spline 23 Disc wheels are fitted with the sturdiest spokes in the DT Swiss range: the DT Aero Comp Wide Straightpull spokes. The spokes are perfectly held in place by DT ProLock Squorx ProHead locking spoke nipples. So don't hesitate to jump over bumps, stomp through mud or sprint uphill: DT Swiss 370 precision hubs with wide rims and strong spokes guarantee trouble-free rides year after year.

Pro Lock Technology
Pro Lock is a process whereby a patented 2-component adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel constructions. By turning the nipple on the spoke, the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. The wheel can still be adjusted after the glue has fully hardened, with only a minimal loss of locking function. As a result, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer. This extends durability and proper spoke tension by up to 20 times compared to wheels without Pro Lock nipples.

Tubeless ready
These wheels feature a tubeless ready rim that allows for the use of tubeless tyres and latex. This set-up minimises punctures. Should a puncture occur, the latex will fill the gap within seconds. Other advantages of riding tubeless are lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is still possible to fit your old-fashioned folding tyres with inner tubes.
