The Castelli Velocissimo Due is generally known bibshort. This sporty short has a nice design and good price / quality ratio.
It has an exceptionally good fit and is comfortable thanks to the combination of 9 panels. The KISS Air foam is comfortable all day long. The quality and finish of this short make it a favourite of many cyclists.
KISS Air foam:
Comfort like the Progretto X2 Air foam. The soft, brushed fleece fabric, a seamless design and mulitiple layers with 2 different thicknesses and densities make it extremely comfortable. It is a padding for comfortable long rides. The seamless, bacteriostatic fabric feels like a second skin. The padding has several densities and thicknesses and provides support around the sit bones and the perineum. The breathable fabric has excellent moisture transport.
Giro3 Grippers: fitted with a single elastic layer that has a soft feeling but keeps the short in place while it also fits tightly.
Affinity Lycra: It provides optimal support for your muscles. The fabric shapes according to your movements. The hydrophobic effect keeps you dry.

friction wear after one ride.

I had wanted Castelli bib shorts for a while, but was very disappointed that they showed signs of wear on the top inside leg after only one 50k ride. Good fit, look good but failed on the important bit.
