The bib short is lighter and more breathable than other Castelli bib shorts due to different applications in the construction and the chamois. The Skin Care layer from the Progetto X² Air chamois is used to create an even cooler feeling.

The main part of the Castelli Insider 2 bib short is made of comfortable Lycra material, with a density of only 195 grams per square meter. This makes the material very thin and airy, but not yet transparent.
Mesh construction on the sides & minimalist braces
The sides of the Castelli Insider 2 bib short have a Mesh construction. Unlike Lycra, this fabric is more transparent, but still more breathable. This combination means your legs are still optimally supported and you'll experience great comfort in high temperatures and exertion.
Progetto X² Air Skin Care Layer chamois
The Castelli Insider 2 bib short for men is equipped with the Skin Care layer from the Progetto X² Air chamois. This new seamless skin protection layer makes the contact with the skin even softer and reduces friction. By not using the full Progetto X² Air chamois, the Castelli Insider 2 bib short is even cooler.
