WaveCel offers better protection than traditional EPS foam helmets
This Bontrager Rally helmet features the WaveCel crash protection technology. WaveCel is a collapsible cellular structure which lines the inside of the helmet. To absorb the force of an impact, the material structure of WaveCel changes in 3 consecutive steps. First, the cell structure bends, absorbing the first external forces. Then, the structure crumples, much like a car bumper in a collision. Finally, WaveCel moves the impact energy away from the head. The result is more effective protection against head injuries than traditional EPS foam helmets.
Boa® system for a perfect fit
At the back of the Rally helmet is the Boa® adjustment dial, with which you can adjust the helmet fit easily and with only one hand. As a result, you'll have a great fit and optimal comfort. The LockDown strap dividers make it easy to adjust the helmet straps for an even more precise fit.
