Seat is good, footrests disastrous
A great idea in itself. We bought the seat for our holiday. Unfortunately, the footrests took ages to install. They kept coming loose after about 2 days and then fell off. The screws were turning. The thread didn't fit somehow. The system doesn't fit well on the bars of the e-bike. In the end we had to use the seat with only one support and at the very end without any supports at all, which is uncomfortable for the child and also unsafe as the feet can get caught in the spokes as the spoke guard cannot be installed without footrests. Overall had high hopes but unfortunately disappointing

Great seat, too bad about the rotating footrests
Both me and my five-and-a-half-year-old daughter are enthusiastic about the seat itself. The footrests and protective plates are also fine in themselves, only I, like many other reviewers, had the problem that they keep turning easily if some force is applied, no matter how hard you tighten the bolts. I easily solved this myself doot by fastening the back of the foot protection plate to the rear rack bar with a tie-wrap. Now there is no more movement. Another solution might be to remove the supplied smooth plastic film that protects the frame and instead put a piece of rubber between the clamp and the frame (not tried).

Practical accessories
The seat feels secure and firm. My child loves sitting on it. The seat was easy to fit, the footrests were not quite as easy, but doable.

Top seat, but the footrests are unusable for now.
Nothing to criticise about the seat. It is robust, easy to assemble and folding the backrest is ideal if the bike is also used for other purposes. The footrests are a different story. The design icm with the protectors is nicely done, but the mounting of the footrests themselves is really only compatible with a completely vertical frame tube. As soon as the supports are mounted even slightly at an angle, the mounting falls seriously short. There is no proper way to clamp the supports really well, they keep being able to rotate and thus it is not possible for the child to put even a little weight on them. In doing so, the protector also rotates and gets between the spokes. I am still discussing a suitable solution with Bobike

Prima stoeltje voor korte afstanden
Goed fietsstoeltje voor kortere afstanden, voet steuntjes draaien steeds weg, waardoor het spatbord in de spaken komt
