The retailer and product are excellent.

- André 2 November 2025

I only recently stumbled across the Beeline Velo 2 and checked out the app while I was on holiday before I bought the device. I am super satisfied. Be it simply that I want to record a route or that I want to be navigated. It works great, is very clear and simply what I wanted. The special offer from the retailer was also great, as the matching case was included. It was delivered within 2 days.

Top product.

I had the opportunity to test the Beeline and compare it with a Garmin 1040. The Garmin can do a lot but is cumbersome, the Beeline is fast, light and simple. My wishes: navigation and easy GPX import from Komoot with upload to Strava. My sports watch records heart rate (heart rate belt) and GPS track. The Beeline is a cycling computer that basically lets the phone do all the work. GPS signal, route calculations; everything happens on your phone. The Beeline itself is basically just a screen with a speaker. The Beeline beeps briefly before (+/- 100 m) and at junctions. The beep is loud enough. The app is very user-friendly in terms of creating routes and importing routes. There are direct links to Strava and Komoot for 'routes to bike' and 'routes cycled'. For routes you create in the app, there is automatic recalculation if you drive the wrong way. With an external GPX, the direction to your route is displayed and there is no recalculation. Loading a route from Komoot is quickly done and synchronisation is very fast. You can save the route in Komoot and immediately it is available in the Beeline app. The Beeline is always on my bike. When I go to bike, I set everything up on my phone and press 'Go'. As soon as you then accelerate the Beeline, it works immediately and you see the navigation on the screen without having to sync anything else or the like. The screen is perfectly readable in the sun. My phone's battery uses roughly 7% per hour of biking for the GPS. The Beeline itself has a battery that lasts about 10h. The only drawback I've found is that if you don't have internet when loading a new route, it won't work. But when do you not have internet these days? Meanwhile, I have cycled 250 km with it and am very enthusiastic. Whereas the 'real' bike computers regularly do not synchronise well or do not want to load routes, the Beeline has served me perfectly every time. No more Garmin for me.

Fine bike navigation, but with help from your phone

- Frank 28 August 2025

Handy, compact and clear bike navigation. Actually it is a Bluetooth display with the free beeline app on your phone, without the phone the device does nothing. The screen is clear, when navigating it shows the road to ride and all side roads up to about 200 metres ahead on the route, a navigation arrow for the next turn and distance to that turn. A clear audible signal warns 100 and 20 metres ahead of the turn. Controls work fine. Many additional screens including one with climb profile of your ride and the current climb with difficulty in 3 colours, metres yet to climb and climb distance. Planning your ride in the accompanying app work well, with 3 route options or compass mode to your destination. Importing and exporting gpx routes is also possible.
