Sturdy and stable structure
The Epos' robust and fully foldable frame is specially designed to combine a high load capacity with a robust and safe construction. To attach a bike, secure the telescopic arm with flexible strap to its frame or rear wheel; this system provides excellent protection - even for fragile carbon frames - against scratches or too much clamping pressure. Then, mounting the bike carrier itself is super efficient thanks to the self-stabilising coupling system, which keeps the carrier neatly balanced on the towbar until you have finished (un)loading and are ready to close the tightening handle. It is a very clever way to make mounting much safer and lighter.

The Epos ParkSecure car bike rack is an absolute novelty - it is the very first model with a built-in electronic reverse alert system! As the car is reversing, a cleverly engineered network of four Thule ParkSecure sensors scans the space behind the car and transmits this data wirelessly to a compact receiver plugged into the USB port in the car's dashboard. This in-car unit also serves as a Bluetooth connection to your smartphone and provides clear audio and visual alerts inside the car to help you, the driver, keep your bikes and your bike carrier safe and damage-free.

Details for your convenience
The Epos includes a practical foot pedal that smoothly tilts the entire structure away from the car so you can access the trunk and easily add another piece of luggage. Although the total construction weighs 23.1 kg, when folded the carrier is surprisingly easy and ergonomic to move thanks to the sturdy carrying handle and built-in transport wheels. The wheels of the bike(s) on the rack are held securely in place by reliable pump buckles with a ratchet mechanism, and the built-in locks help with theft prevention (Thule's HighGrade lock is separately available).

Compatibility and sizing
This system is designed for towbar mounting with a 13-pin power connector and can accommodate up to 3 bikes. Each bike must weigh no more than 30 kg, and please note that the total load must not exceed 60 kg. The wheel slots support large wheels with a diameter up to 29 inches and tyres with a width up to 3 inches (this can be extended to 5 inches with a separate adapter). The large 25 cm distance between bikes prevents them from touching each other, and the extra-long wheel holders can accommodate bikes with a wheelbase up to 1350 mm.
