Disque de Frein Hope RX Centre Lock Disc

The Hope RX Centerlock brake disc is light, looks fabulous and provides excellent heat dissipation for improved braking performance. Heat dissipation is so good because the disc consists of two parts that can move individually. The rotor consists of an aluminium spider on which the braking surface can move freely. This movement ensures better heat dissipation without affecting braking performance.

The braking surface of the Hope RX Centerlock brake disc is precision ground, and chamfered to reduce the risk of cuts in a crash.

Please note: disc does not fit every bike!
To allow the brake disc to move, the rivets between the rotor and the spider are slightly wider than in other brake discs. These five rivets have a diameter of 16 mm and are 26.5 mm below the highest point of the brake surface. They extend 1 mm beyond the brake surface on both sides. Pay attention to this before installing the rotor to avoid contact with your frame, wheel or caliper. The width of the braking surface itself is 2.7 mm.
