Selle Royal Lookin Moderate Saddle

I've had to face facts: the saddles supplied as standard on all the bikes I've bought have never suited my size (1m90, 86 kg). They're often 165 to 180 mm wide, with some containing gel and others not. But the widest saddles aren't the best either (Italia tested at 235 mm wide and yet well padded). With this model, I felt pain in the back of my thighs. In general, I didn't ride more than 20 to 30 km. Testing this Royal Selle, I have to admit that the comfort has become ... royal! Maybe there's more to it than that, but the fact remains that I've now been able to ride for more than 50 km, which suits me just fine.

I came from a rather hard Koga saddle that once came with my electric bike. I never enjoyed sitting on that, terrible saddle pain and then didn't know how to sit the last km home from work (21 km). I really couldn't cycle to work twice in a row. What a relief this saddle is, it has a very nice seat shape, is nice and soft but still gives good support. I should have bought this saddle earlier. No more saddle sores!
