Ensures your chain stays on your chainring even on very rough terrain.
Does what it is supposed to do and is not noticeable. On a very rough trip of 130km on rough terrain, the chain did not fall off once. So I like it!

Not suitable for smaller front sprockets (32T)
Sturdy chain guide that is easy to adjust. Important downside: the chain guide is fixed low on the tube. With a 32-tooth front bar, the attachment comes up against the rear tube, so the chain guide cannot be attached low enough. Since, in my opinion, most modern MTBs have 32-tooth front sprockets, this construction is a nuisance and not usable for many. A chain guide that is usable is the XLC Chain Guide CR-A19, which I hope Mantel will include in its range. It also has a lot of space on the side of the chain, as this chain guide is also compatible with 9x. In any case, the CR-A18 is going back to Mantel.

Good product for 34 blade and larger.
Satisfied, though. But this guide is actually not suitable for a 32-blade, because then the clamp will hit the angled tube, and then sit too high above your chain/blade. With 34-tooth blade and larger, it can be used.
