Nice set with good value for money
Rides very smoothly and with wind a little feeling but that goes well after a few times too

Do not purchase
I would not recommend the wheels and spend a little more on other wheels. In 1 year I have already had 3x problems that have prevented me from cycling for an extended period of time. The problems I had had to do with ball bearings and hubs that had to be replaced. I am going to buy new wheels.

Very inexpensive and quality seems ok
Looks good. Feels good.

Top, I would buy again.
In search of carbon clincher rims I stumbled rather by chance on the Internet on the coat R50 TLR LRS. Initially, I was skeptical, because other providers partly demand significantly more money. But after the first 60 kilometers with the wheelset I am fully satisfied. He came clean centered and processed, he runs quietly, brakes reasonably in the dry (to wet I can not say anything yet) and has a great sound. The stiffness also fits with my 100 kilos live weight. I would definitely buy the LRS again.

Beautiful for interesting price
Very nice wheels, valve and rim tape already mounted
Pros & Cons

Excellent surprise for the price, a real plus for my practice.
After a dozen rides, I'm really pleased with these wheels. They prove to be particularly efficient and pleasant when accelerating progressively over long distances. When relaunching, they are less pleasant: not very responsive, but without being a handicap. Their lightness is an asset when climbing. Fitting the tubed tires posed no problems, but you should block the valves to avoid an unpleasant rattling noise.

Nice looking wheels, sleek. With sticker of Mantel on it, great look.
Fantastic wheels. 1 problem, I can get the Schwalbe one tires on them with a lot of difficulty. Hands are crooked. Who doesn't have that problem, with which tire? Bvd.

Top wheels
Exceeded my expectations.

Super nice, fine, affordable wheels.
Nice wheels with a nice sound from the body. Are well stiff, miraculously I had the vittoria corsa on them in no time. Be careful that the cheek is in the low part of the wheel when fitting. Mounting the brake pads was a lot harder. I had to hammer them in with a hammer. When I wanted to change wheels for a bad weather ride I had to hammer them out again. After I cut away some of the material from the brake pads with a knife, mounting them was a lot easier.

It suits me fine

I was a little skeptical at first but I quickly changed my mind, they're top-notch.
I don't regret my purchase, they're just sublime. Very good for climbing, good performance, they're very solid and change your life. I recommend you won't be disappointed, especially at this price. I'm even thinking of buying another pair to keep in stock.

Good and simple
A great product that today helped me achieve a new personal best at Vätternrundan.

carbon makes the difference but not the most dynamic wheels
very good feeling from 30km/h and uphill, a little less good when I relaunch at the end of a bend where I would have liked a little more dynamism

Best upgrade for your bike!
Very nice wheels, which make the whole cycling experience much better, like driving on clouds. Absolutely fantastic wheels.

nice price/quality balance
Great wheels that not only look good (stickers come right off...) but are wonderfully stiff on climbs and acceleration.
Pros & Cons

Highly recommended with a budget-friendly price for decent carbon wheels
For me the wheels are what I expected them to be so far. Runs very smoothly especially on the flat and are very direct both when turning on and also in hilly areas. However, the included brake pads are of lesser quality, but you can always replace them with better ones. Certainly not a bad purchase for a nice and fast upgrade for your bike.

tip top
After about 20000 km are the wheels with much up and down in all weather conditions including forest and off-road trails like a one. To date, on the brake flanks front and rear is not the hint of wear to be determined. The wear behavior I have not experienced with any aluminum LRS even approximately. Brakes top in all conditions. I drive with hose, with different Dichtmilchsorten always made the same modest experience.

Very nice wheels
After reading many reviews of different brands I ended up with the carbon version from Mantel, the 50 TLR for rim brakes. After mounting the tires on the rim this went pretty easy and after mounting the rim in the bike this gave the bike a directly different look than my previous rims with alu brake rims. (Ursuswielen58). And then the riding characteristics of the 50TLR rim ride very tight and little bother from side winds I have cycled with wind force 4a5 in beautiful Friesland where it is almost always windy. But also when sprinting up overpasses it takes little effort and when rolling down the rims are very good and run nicely. The rattle in the rear wheel is very nice and sounds like music to my ears.

Satisfied with my product
I bought these wheels to ride on flats and false flats, even medium bumps, they respond quite well, fluid too, from 30 km/h, they show all their efficiency due to their rim height.

Top wheels at a very competitive price
I hesitated and looked at these rims for a very long time. The price difference with A brands is indeed consistent, so the quality should be a lot less. I drive a 8-10k km a year, so I wanted to avoid making a mis-buy. I rode Cosmic for a long time and figured this would be a step down, but well the financial plays into it as well so I tacked. My findings after 500km are very positive, first of all in terms of performance I notice a big difference with my previous wheels, they feel stiffer, accelerate smoothly and also maintain speed easily. A pleasure to ride. In terms of aesthetics, they also have the advantage that they are completely black and thus match any bike, with my snakeskin GP5000 28' they look very sleek. The wider tires also make them feel very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is not to start on the brake pads, buy carbon-proof pads from an A brand because I had to trim these pads with a cutter knife to get them in, a nightmare. But anyway, once they were in, it was quickly forgotten.

Very good set of wheels for a very nice price
I have had the wheels for several months now, I am very happy with them. They meet expectations to the maximum. Despite the high rim, the wind has little effect on the handling.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Very satisfied with the good driving characteristics.
These are the first carbon rims I've tried, and so far they've really lived up to my expectations. Surprised that it's actually easier to maintain a relatively high speed. Haven't tried them in the rain, so I don't know how they brake there, but in the dry there are no problems.
Pros & Cons

Fantastically good wheels for both training and competition.
Ridden five races with them, 5 x top 3. They bulge very well and leave a nice sound on asphalt. The hub has a loud rattle, which is useful on a training ride > hold your legs still for a moment and you can hear that someone is approaching. The wheels pull up well after a turn and lie well on the track. Top wheelset and definitely recommended for races. Rolled about 2000km so far in 5 weeks and definitely no complaints about it, they are comparable to other top wheel sets. I can't give any minus points except the fact that maybe 100gr could be taken off the wheelset, 1500gr is ok but not super light.
Pros & Cons

90% of the quality for 70% of the price
Sure you get better if you pay more. But as a hobbyist I can't bring myself to pay more than 1000 euros for a set of wheels. However, I did have the desire to switch to carbon and TLR. So searching and ended up with this set. Before this I had the vision team 35 comp sl and they were already a lot better/stiffer/aero than my standard wheels that came with my bike. These are even better. And they should be, because with continental grand prix 5000 TLR tires you quickly end up with 850 euros. (For contrast - my car costs only 500 euro) Fitting went very smoothly. As preparation I had ordered a syringe with flexible tubing etc. in China. In my opinion, this is the only way to add the sealant. Otherwise it becomes a mess and the sealant gets into places where it does not belong. For example, between the rim and the tire. The tires were not much tighter than many a race tire and once put on I could inflate them with a regular pump. Inflated the tires to 8 bar and after several satisfying "ping" sounds took the pressure off. Turned open valve and added fluid.... Rotated 2 rounds on its side so all the edges were well covered and haven't had to re-pump once since. Now 400+ km on, I can report that my hopes and expectations have been fulfilled just fine. The carbon is well laid almost everywhere except for 1 spot. This can only be seen when the sun shines on it at a certain angle. And at the transition seams you can see the slightly rough finish. This too can only be seen when the light is right. (or not) Grip of the 28 mm tires with a pressure of 5.5 bar is good. Braking is excellent in dry weather and moderate in wet weather (expected). Improved rolling resistance and aero advantage are clearly noticeable. Not unimportant are the looks. I like understated beauty. And find this in the matte black quiet wheels with a subtle logo of mantle. The 50 mm rim gives my bike a tough and fast look even when stationary. In conclusion. Yes you can get better, but whether you get more for your money, I don't think so just yet. Can recommend this set so far. Should anything change after 4000 km I will definitely report it here!

Good Experience
Bought them a month ago and already over 1000 km on them, I'm hooked! I can't compare with other carbon wheels because these are my first... What I can say is that it's a real pleasure to ride these wheels, efficient with lateral wind. I live in Calais, so it's appreciable!

Great buy.
Magnificent wheels for a more than reasonable price.the only downside is that the tires are really hard to mount.
Pros & Cons

drives nice, but it's junk.
I bought two sets of wheels, one for training and one for racing. The first set of wheels broke after about 1,000 km, the second after 300 km. Because the second wheelset broke after only 28 days I was able to return it under return. the wheels bulge very nicely and make a nice sound, but they need to hire another spokesman to balance their wheels.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Very nice wheelset for reasonable amount.
These wheels ride perfectly. Now also tried them in very strong crosswinds. No problem at all. Wheels are very stiff and I thought as a hobbyist I wouldn't notice it. Nothing is less true. You feel like you are riding a new bike instead of just new wheels. I also had the problem with the brake pads for the rim brakes. That has to change.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Too bad there were incorrect brake pads supplied with the wheels.
Nice lightweight carbon wheels at an excellent price. However, fitting the included brake pads was difficult. I checked the website and it turned out that campagnolo brake pads were included. Brake pads for shimano brakes were not in stock. Eventually resolved with Mantel.

Fine wheels
I have had the R50 wheels for 4 months now and am very satisfied. The wheels meet my expectations, they are very stiff and aero and look nice. Last weeks I went on vacation in the mountains and also there during the descents I had no problems. I did use the Swisstop race brake pads, they get less hot during braking. Even descents of 10km at 10% with reasonable braking went fine. I also lubricated the bearings once, after that the rear wheel initially turned very badly, the whole drive train turned with it in neutral. What turned out to be wrong was that the sealing rubber of the hub was not seated properly, so it did not turn smoothly. Then the rubber was placed properly and it turned like a charm.

My first carbon wheels
My first carbon wheels so hard to compare with other products but they roll well and are straight. Have only driven 30 miles with them so it is difficult to judge the quality and durability over time. Therefore gives four stars.
Pros & Cons

The highest quality at the lowest price
These wheels have really changed the face of my Bianchi Oltre Xr4. The bike is much more responsive than with the aluminum Fulcrum zero's I was previously riding and has taken on a really aggressive and decidedly more pleasing look. The tubeless fitment remains the best value for me. And all this at a great price.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Tight wheels, be careful with crosswinds though (for light riders)
After reading many reviews of different rims, I ended up with Mantel's carbon rims. Initially very satisfied. Good service from Mantel. Nice looks and sound. Immediately noticed the difference compared to my previous aluminum rims (Mavic Aksium). Much stiffer. Only on my first ride in wind force 4/5 I was disappointed with the side wind. Based on the reviews I did not expect this. Possibly the wheels are less suitable if you are a light and tall rider (72 kg, 1.88m) and want to ride safely in wind force >4. Otherwise super wheels!
Pros & Cons

Nice wheelset
Very pleased with this wheelset and certainly with the price vs quality. The included brake pads are a disaster though. Don't start and just buy the pads from BBB for example. Saves a lot of hassle and frustration.
Pros & Cons

Better spend a little more money on durable wheels
The front wheel already had a knock in it without having ridden even 1 meter.

Top wheelset at an unbeatable price
Although the price suggests otherwise, the wheels are very well made and robust. Very agile handling and aerodynamically very good. Very good braking performance with the associated brake pads. Good wheels do not have to be expensive. Clear buy recommendation.

Satisfied with these wheels (see over time)
Good feel, even hearing. Nimble wheels and low sensitivity to crosswind.

I recommend, why buy more expensive
Very satisfied, very fast delivery in France, excellent value for money.

Delightful driving experience
Top wheels! Have them next to my Mavic Ksyriums SL. Those were supposed to be lighter than the mantle wheels; about 100 grams. However, these TLR's 50 feel lighter. Accelerates nice and smooth out of corners. Lovely sound, both the whooshing sound at 30+ but also the rattle. Braking is fine in dry weather and a little rain. No noise either. Not yet used in heavy rain. Mounting the included brake pads is difficult. Next time I will consider brake pads with a better fit. E.g. from swiss stop.

Nice wheels but
Too bad they're not for 11v

Excellent pair of wheels
I have only covered about a thousand kilometers yet, but I can already make a first report. Very good value for money, very good rim seal with tubeless mounting and also easy to install. Also good braking in line with the type of rims, good stiffness on shots. The only thing I would improve is the smoothness of the hubs, but I think with some more miles it could improve.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good product, well finished
The wheels meet my expectations.Good value for money. No stickers too flashy and difficult to remove. The tires are quite hard to mount.even those deemed easy to install.Use with inner tubes.Tubeless use is considered.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Superwheels
Instantly noticeably faster and totally unaffected by crosswinds
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good wheels, however poor brake pads
Nice stiff wheels for a good price. Too bad the brake pads don't fit though, doesn't say if they are suitable for shimano brake pad holders, but that's what I assumed since these are the most commonly used and it has a shimano hub on it.
Pros & Cons
2 / 5
Don't buy, bad hubs
If you are looking for a set of carbon wheels for nice weather this is a great deal. I personally regret my purchase though. Every six months they need new bearings and actually the hubs need to be replaced. Hubs are really bad quality. I should have spent a few hundred euros more and bought more durable wheels.
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
Not a good wheel
After 18 months, the rear wheel rolls sluggishly. In comparison with other wheels both carbon and aluminum, the wheel rolls worst of all.Not a good purchase.Mantle would fix this and make the wheel roll better.Only became negligibly better.New body did not help. Not a good wheel
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fine wheels at a good price.
Rides great with Conti GP5000 28mm around it. Looks neat and hub sounds nice. Makes so much noise that I often don't need the bell. Legs quiet for a moment and other road users hear you are coming.
