Fantastic wheels - so glad I bought them!
Absolutely fantastic wheels. I’ve been shopping around for a long time but in the end decided on these wheels and I am absolutely amazed. I’ve set them up on my Canyon Ultimate with a new cassette, chain and discs, and am running them with Pinarello P Zero Race 28 mm tyres (with inner tubes). Don’t know what problems other people had with the rim tape - I’ve checked it carefully and it was perfect (I had even bought some spare tape already just in case!). They feel fantastic, are fast, the freewheel has a great sound and once you go faster than 30 kph they make this whooshing sound which I love! The tyres were easy to fit, no need for tyre levers to get them on, which is a VERY big plus for me too as I do a lot of solo rides in the middle of nowhere and need to be able to fix a puncture without help or calling the broom wagon which happened to me a few times with my previous wheels. If you are thinking of getting carbon wheels with 50 mm rim, go for it - it makes a huge difference! They do catch the wind in the cross winds but this is to be expected.

Aero wheeeels
I barely have them for two weeks but many of my personal Strava records for the past 3 years have started to fall. And I haven't even been trying to break them... So yes, the wheels are fast. The original wheel set were Fulcrum 77 disc (came with the bike) with Continental 5000 25mm tires + latex inner tubes at 6-6.5 bar. On the new wheels I also fitted Continental 5000 25mm, but tubeless at 5-5.5 bar. At lower speeds I couldn't tell the difference, but starting from around 30 km/h I'd say they give me an extra 1-2 km/h for the same perceived effort. Against tires with butyl inner tubes that would probably be around 3-4 km/h. Other remarks: - I was a bit concerned about fitting tubeless tires, as I never used them before. They do require extra effort to put on, but I had invested 10 euro in a "BBB Cycling Easytire Bandenhulp BTL-78" and it helped. I am not sure if I can change/fix them on the road with regular tire levers, but hopefully I won't have to. - the ratchet hub system is a bit noisier and a bit more annoying than the old one. Oh, well... let that be the only problem. - I could not immediately use the brake disks from the original wheels. On the original the disks were held in place by a metallic ring with the thread on the interior (so the thread on the wheel was on the outside). The Mantel wheels expect a ring piece with the thread on the exterior (the wheel has the thread on the hollow interior of the hub cylinder). I had to visit a local bike shop to find matching rings. Not a big deal, but costed me a bit of stress and two hours of my time.

A great entry-level carbon wheelset. The set is so light that it can also be used for climbing. Mantel's civilized decals make the set look and sound great.

TOP product at a great price
A top wheelset, at a TOP price!!! Ingenious freewheel sound, classy look and very quiet running. Is supplied completely tubeless ready, tires on it and off it goes! We now have on both road bikes this wheelset. It does not always have to be the well-known top dogs, clear purchase recommendation

Super price / performance and driving experience!
1A wheels! Come really Tubeless Ready. Valve and tape already pre-mounted. Drive them with a Schwalbe One 28mm. Unfortunately, the front hub is a little too wide for my Canyon Endurace fork, I have zusäthlich a 1mm wide washer so that the radnabe does not grind on the paint. It is really minimal. Had the wheels already Tubeless mounted and therefore could not send them back. I love the wheels and am glad that I have not sent it back

Incredible value for money
Everything I was looking for in wheels for my road. But +/- 1000€ less expensive than other brands. Look, performance and noise are exceptional. Ultra-easy tubeless mounting with GP 5000's. For me, the precision of the centerlock nut type is missing. I had to order the right model once I received the wheels. But it was delivered the next day, as usual.

A good price/quality set of Carbon wheels from Mantel with a sleek appearance.
After about 4 years of riding the standard aluminum wheels with 30 mm rims on my Giant, I thought it was time for an upgrade. The old wheels (PR-2) weighed 2030 grams and I would "gain" almost 400 grams on the weight of my bike with these Mantel wheels of 1655 grams. Obviously you won't notice that right away, but what I did notice is that the ride characteristics of my bike changed dramatically. From a bit sluggish and "slow", to tight and fast, just what I was looking for. In addition, the look of the bike has also improved and I always look back when I put it somewhere.

For the price top!
Have been looking for an inexpensive wheelset and have landed in sometime at Mantel. In particular, the good product video on YouTube has pleased me. Great clean look, but the small stickers look cheap. Top delivery time and well packaged.

Nice wheelset
So far this wheelset meets my expectations. Have had them mounted on the bike for 2 weeks now. Looks nice and run very smoothly.

Price, nicer, lighter, stiffer, more aerodynamic than my dt Swiss rims!
Tested this week on the RVV 2022 course. Fitted with the swalbe pro one tubeless. Front tire on 6bar and rear on 6.5 bar, I am 88kg, did not ride comfortably. On the way some air out and rode slightly less comfortable over the cobblestones than with my dt Swiss spline 1800 with 4 season continental 28mm tires. No pain on my seat so definitely very satisfied with these wheels.

Do not hesitate
I had broken a spoke on my 45 carbon rims I needed a pair of disc wheels quickly to be able to ride my new bike I found it is you who assemble Deliveries within two working days well packaged exactly the same weight as my pair of 45 wheels although they are in 50 very well finished and good performance I advise

Fine wheels
Super straight, good running, relatively light wheels and with the rock-solid ratchet of the cassette body, no more bell needed.

Unprecedented! Very good wheels for this price! Highly recommended!
What a great Wheelset! Especially for the price, I think this is unprecedented. If you are looking for good wheels and a good price, you can't do better than these wheels. Very impressed with the performance. Comfort (although now with 32mm tires) is super for such wheels. Nothing to complain about, but I would like to mention a few small points: hubs do not have a rubber seal (price is accordingly), weight could be lower (see difference rim brake vs disc), no flat spoke (aero anyway). Other than that, the bike is very nice! Freehub for days (no bell needed - very fat). In acceleration they seem to lag a bit behind than my lighter roval alpinist wheels - different price range. Perhaps the weight that comes into play as it is noticeable.

Nice quality wheels!
Tested the wheels 300km versus my standard aluminum wheels. In terms of comfort I notice the most difference, much more "cushioning". In addition, they definitely give aerodynamic advantage. And they look great. And that Freehub sound is really great! Highly recommended for the money!

The wheelset is a perfect all-rounder at an unbeatable price!
Very good wheelset for the money, has saved almost 1000g compared to the standard system wheelset. Although round spokes amazing aerodynamics and a good start.

Tested today over 150 kms with a flat course, a small pass and a beautiful descent with great handling in tight bends.

Mantel R50D TLR Disc: recommended for carbon wheels
Bought the Mantel R50D TLR Disc wheels to build into my new Isaac Boson Disc. Not only do they ride beautifully, but they also look phenomenal. Super satisfied with the choice! Highly recommended if you are looking for carbon wheels.

Fabulously cheap carbon wheels with great looks and excellent quality.

TOP LRS
In the crosswind, the LRS is not so susceptible. Is probably due to the normal spokes. The low weight is of course an advantage. Volume of the freewheel: Decency loud. But not disturbing.

Price quality set of carbon wheels, highly recommended!
Wheels now tested about 200km. Totally love the freehub sound, no bell needed anymore. They give more cushioning than my previous Giant aluminum wheels and are also a bit lighter. Furthermore, they also just look super fat!

Featherweight wheels and no flat tires to deal with
I bought the wheels for my gravel bike because I do a lot of traveling on the bike. I needed solid wheels that worked efficiently with pedaling, now I feel that every pedal stroke has effect. The rattle is wonderful to listen to maybe less so if you want to ride quietly in nature. Personally my first time riding tubeless with a used tire that already had some holes in it. After filling it with sealant in this wheelset and spinning it vigorously the holes were immediately filled.

Very good acquisition
Nice wheels, light and aerodynamic. After a few long rides on flat and hilly terrain, I'm delighted to have bought them.

Great product
Very good upgrade, pleasant at around 34-35km/h and useful stiffness over bumps.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good enough!
People forget that's not about the weight but about the stiffness that makes a wheel fast. And these wheels are stiff!! The unbranded hub is not the best but pretty decent. Compared to my mavic set they’re a bit noisy my guess is because they are less earo. For this price point I would grab them while you can.
Pros & Cons

Appearance atrocious, light weight.
Nice appearance. Feel light and fast. Too bad I was unable to ride for a week (still no working wheels at the time of writing this review) because no adapters were included for the drivetrain (out end cassette). Had no response to my email after 4 days also. Too bad! But looking forward to putting some miles on these fast wheels.

Gravely disappointed in the Mantel R50D TLR Disc wheelset
Bought the Mantel R50D TLR Disc because it was a (on the site) nice wheelset for a good price. When assembling it, however, I found that when pedaling backwards the chain blocked and ran off the smallest sprocket. Readjusted the derailleur but with no better result. Returned to Mantel where the mechanic put new grease in the body. Had frequent contact with Mantel and supported complaints with videos. When cycling the rear wheel kept making a rattling noise as if you were constantly shifting gears. Meanwhile, confidence in the wheelset was completely gone and purchased other wheelset. Sent Mantel wheels back where they were checked again. According to Mantel they should be good now however the confidence in the wheels is still not there. Would rather spend a bit more money next time and buy wheels from a reputable brand. I went off on the looks of the wheels but severely disappointed in the quality.
