Perfectly tight around shoe and ankle

- Hendrik, 5 February, 2023

Used for the first time at 2 degrees. I have a 45 shoe size, and this fits perfectly as an overshoe xl size 45/46. I had tried on the xxl in a store, the xxl goes a little smoother around the shoe, but is too wide around the ankle, the xl is nice and tight around the ankle, and fits perfectly. No thick neoprene so no wet feet

Pros & Cons

Breathable
Tight around the ankle
No

Style isn't everything! No gore tex

- Robin, 4 December, 2021

Do not use in winter, or only in dry, cold weather. Shoe covers don't protect against the rain at all. After 10 minutes your feet are completely wet. And the seams are fragile.

Pros & Cons

Style
Fragile stitching
Not gore tex

Warm, windproof overshoe

- Mark, 3 December, 2021

After good experiences with Castelli clothing, I now also bought the overshoes. The material is the same as the Perfetto ROS jacket. It is windproof, breathable but not completely waterproof. During a ride around 4 degrees, I had no cold feet even though the wind was quite bleak. Also no wet shoes at the end of the ride, which I always have with neoprene overshoes. Following reviews on Castelli's site, I did order one size bigger, XXL for size 45 and it fits well. I have to put them on before putting the shoe on, because they do not come over the shoe.

Pros & Cons

Good material
Warm enough
Windproof
Not waterproof
