According to the product specialist

Pros
The Tacx Boost bike trainer is a perfect way to stay in shape when you can't train outdoors.
This trainer uses 10 different resistance levels so you can determine the optimal resistance yourself.
With a maximum power output of 1050 Watts, this trainer is the closest thing to a direct drive bike trainer among the wheel-on trainers.
With a flywheel of 1.6 kg, this cycle trainer provides a more realistic resistance than the Blue Matic or Blue Twist.
Thanks to the foldable legs you can easily put the trainer away when you’re not using it.
The Tacx Flow Smart measures your speed, power and cadence.
The Tacx Smart trainer can be linked to cycling software such as Zwift, TrainerRoad and Sufferfest.
When you are not using the turbo trainer, you can fold it up into a compact size.
You can view the data on your bike computer, smartphone, sports watch or tablet.
Cons
Your rear tyre can wear out quickly if you’re not using a trainer tyre.
For an even more realistic cycling experience, you need a direct drive trainer.
Without a trainer tyre, you can wear out your rear tyre quickly.
You can cycle even more realistically with a Direct Drive trainer.
A 29-inch bike will only fit with a special Tacx trainer tyre.
