The ratchet system has an aluminium frame and it has a large button to loosen and tighten the ratchet. It has 4 different positions which ensure an optimal fit for all foot sizes.

The top of the Tornado shoes have a comfortable fit which improve the foot stability when pedalling. Air Mesh Fabric improves moisture transport and comfort. The Diadora Plantare The Plantare Hi-Vent soles offer maximum ventilation and comfort even in the most extreme of conditions. The Diadora Dual Ring Closure system is suitable for all foot shapes and sizes, and keeps your feet from slipping out with the velcro straps. If you have low instep feet, you can use the second ring. If you have a high instep use the first ring. In both cases it is easy to tighten the shoes.
