Sillín Fizik Aliante R5 Open

This Fizik Aliante R5 Open Saddle is comfortable and therefore offers excellent support while cycling. The saddle is made for less agile cyclists who want to sit more upright while cycling. The plastic saddle shell is reinforced with carbon, which greatly improves the transmission of power. The addition of carbon means that this saddle retains its shape for longer, which means that you do not sag as quickly. This shell has comfortable padding, which is covered with a Microtex saddle cover. The lightweight aluminium saddle rails complete the saddle and also improve power transfer!

Saddle shape
This saddle has a rounded rear side which makes it very suitable for people who move a lot and swing their hips when cycling. Being a rounded saddle it gives them more freedom of movement than a flat rear saddle.

Lench
This is an S-shaped saddle, meaning it is raised at the back and lowered at the centre. This S-shape therefore allows people with inflexible spines to sit in a sporty cycling position. This has to do with the pelvic tilt, as someone who is inflexible in the spine has more difficulty in tilting the pelvis.

Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and provides pressure relief for people who experience pressure on their contact area.
