The new Rival 22 crankset is a big upgrade compared to its predecessor. With the introduction of the Rival 22, Sram made the 11 speed technology from the Red 22 and Force 22 available to the lower segment groupsets.

The Rival 22 cranks is only produced in a diameter of 110 mm. There are three different chainrings: 50/34, 46/36 (cyclocross) and to our opinion the best 52/36.
Ideal for combination landscapes. A big outer chainring for the flats and a compact chainring for the hills. You think the 36 is still too big for you? There is a good option to adjust your chainrings into a 34/50.

The Rival 22 chainrings are equipped with the X-glider technology. The 5 mm thick CNC machined chainrings are extremely stiff and they milled the shift points with precision.
In combination with a YAW front derailleurs and its corresponding 11 speed chain you have can expect optimal gearing performance.
