The Sram X-Sync Direct Mount Boost is for the cool mountain biker looking to tear up the forest. This is the original 1x11 (single) chainring, and its black sleek looks complete any bike. Suitable for Boost with a 3 mm offset. The long teeth and the narrow/wide system ensure your chain will always stay on the ring, negating the need for a chain guide or derailleur. Your bike has fewer components as a result, meaning less maintenance and more time to ride your bike.
Muddy conditions aren't a problem either. So wet days can be just as fun from now on, since the chain ring has mud-clearing properties. This is a recess which allows mud to simply fall away, meaning your drivetrain will last considerably longer since mud and sand can't continually damage and wear your chain.
