The XLC Cantilever Short brake pads are a great replacement for your worn brake pads. Designed for optimum performance and durability, these 55mm black brake pads are the perfect upgrade or replacement for your current set.
The XLC Cantilever brake shoe offers consistent and reliable braking performance under different riding conditions.
Package.
Set of 4 brake pads, fit for both front and rear brakes.
That means they fit perfectly on bikes that use this type of braking mechanism, ensuring optimal braking performance. Cantilever brakes are often seen on mountain bikes and some types of city bikes, so if you have such a bike, these brake pads are ideal.
You can easily check whether your bike has a cantilever braking system by looking at the brakes on the front or back of your bike. With a cantilever system, you will usually see two separate brake arms attached to the frame on either side of the wheel. These arms are activated by a single cable coming from above, usually via a "yoke" or some kind of cable splitter.
