The Shadow RD+ technology allows the SLX M7000 11-speed rear derailleur to change gear smoothly. A high chain stability, thus reducing chain slap, can be adjusted using the lockable derailleur position. This 11-speed derailleur offers you a drivetrain with a 41T capacity.

Like the chain, derailleur pulleys get very dirty. This makes for a less enjoyable ride and doesn't help with the durability of your drivetrain.
