Revamped design
The Abus Airbreaker 2.0 MIPS is safer, smarter and more aerodynamic than the previous Airbreaker model. The new Abus helmet features the well-known MIPS system, which absorbs the energy of a fall on impact, greatly reducing the chance of brain damage! Also, the helmet has more air inlets that force air via the forehead over the head; not only does this provide good ventilation but it also increases the helmet's aerodynamics. The Airbreaker 2.0 and the Airbreaker 2.0 MIPS have many adjustment options to allow for a perfect fit. The rubber inserts make the glasses holder non-slip so that your cycling glasses stay perfectly in place on the roughest roads. In short, it is a perfect bike helmet for the demanding cyclist.

The helmet consists of an in-mold construction with an EPS shell reinforced by the internal Acti Cage structure. This provides extra stability on impact without sacrificing ventilation. The MIPS Air Node system is incorporated in the inner layer of the helmet and helps to distribute rotational forces better. Micro-adjustments to the fit can be made with the Zoom Spin system so that the helmet continues to sit comfortably on your head on long rides in medium to high temperatures.

At the sides, there are sturdy inserts in which you can secure your sunglasses. The Carbon Aero Blade at the back of the helmet enhances aerodynamics and contributes to the strength and security of the structure. The helmet padding can be removed and washed. As the straps are stitched, they do not require strap dividers; thus, they sit particularly snugly and do not flap while riding, optimising aerodynamics.
