Assos Spring Fall Cap P3

The Assos Spring Fall Cap P3 is a great addition for days when your ears are cold in the morning but you still work up a bit of a sweat halfway through your ride. Assos has designed it for spring and autumn and a temperature range of 12°C to 20°C.

The cap is knitted seamlessly all the way round with a medium-weight fabric that retains heat while remaining breathable. A double-knitted layer covers your forehead and ears to block the cold wind. The rest of the hat is single-layered and wicks moisture away quickly, keeping your head dry, no matter how hard you are pedalling.

Compared to the previous model, Assos has made two improvements: The crown is roomier, so the cap sits comfortably particularly for those with long hair, and the insulating material breathes better. Thanks to the thin, seamless knit, you can wear the cap comfortably under your helmet.

The hat comes in two sizes, S-M and L-XL. Before ordering, measure your head circumference just above your ears and along your hairline on your forehead, and choose the size that corresponds to this measurement.

Circular seamless design

The Spring Fall Cap P3 is knitted in the round in one piece, without any seams. This means there are no pressure points under your helmet, and the cap fits snugly and evenly all round.

Double fabric layer over the forehead and ears

Double-knit layers over your forehead and ears block out the cold wind in the areas where you lose heat most quickly, without making the whole hat thick and warm.

Ideal for:

• Use under your cycling helmet – the hat is thin and seamless, so your helmet will still fit securely.
• Riders with long hair – the crown is roomier than in the previous model.

Less suitable for:

• Temperatures below 12°C – in such conditions, a thicker hat or winter cap will be more comfortable.
• Rides when the sun is low in the sky – this helmet beanie has no visor.

Wrap a tape measure around your head, just above your ears and along your hairline on your forehead. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one; you will be wearing the hat under your helmet, and it shouldn’t be too tight.
